If I may offer a suggestion, I've so far only encountered this mod when playing as The Mystic, and a couple things that kinda bug me are that I cannot defend my familiar and that I can sometimes forget to activate an effect of it. I would actually suggest looking at the Ruina mod (not "Library of Ruina" just "Ruina") which has NPCs that can join you in battle and you can push a button to give them some of your block.

And to mitigate the second issue, perhaps adding a symbol by the End Turn button of the summoned familiar if its ability hasn't been used yet?

Thanks for this library. It added an easy to use library to solve a missing feature for a mod I was working on. It was relatively simple to use and I couldn't have imagined getting as far as I have without it.

This is an api mod for other developers that gives them the ability to make their characters or the base characters have the ability to summon friendly minions.
I know of two mods that currently use it:
The Mystic (optional)
Yohane (required)
