@Tyrfang That plus this mod seems to be outdated, on my mod list it appears on red as if it is not compatible, not sure if that's supposed to happen, either way I hope it does become updated! This mod sounds really great and I like the idea of an immortal trait. :)

Is it possible you could update this mod so that leaders with this trait no longer receive lifespan increasing traits? Just a QoL but not really necessary.

no, it was in a complete peace time and it also happaned 2 times, before I've implemented the trait, so the mod probably overwrites things, but I can deal with it :)

@immortalits, it's possible that the trait would kill your hivemind's immortality but only if he was of a species that had the trait. However, my leader is the Chosen One and remains immortal even when he has both, so that's one data point. Did your hive mind just finish a war with an FE by chance? They assassinate leaders at peace conferences sometimes...

Hello, I'm using this mod for a while now, feels like a really good addition, I love it! But I have one small nitpick to do ^^ In the german version, the trait is called "Unsterblicht". The T at the end is wrong, the correct german word is "Unsterblich".
Nothing major, everything works as intended, simply a minor annoyance when reading it. But if you could fix it during the next update, I would highly appreciate it :)

My hive-mind ruler just died at age 84, is it possible, that your mod overwrited their ruler immortality or can it be a base game flaw?
(the trait is not active yet for my guys, waiting for more evlution :) )

It's possible to lock immortality behind a tech, but then you can't roleplay any race that was always immortal, like space elves. A mod that locked it behind bio ascension, as perhaps a third ascension perk that also includes all the other boosts that come with immortality (being better at everything), would be a very compelling mod though. I'd play it, so maybe one day I'll make the mod you suggest.

I didn't adjust pop growth rate because an immortal population should have adapted to immortality with a lower birth rate, evening things out.

Does this have any impact on population growth? It really should. With no one ever dieing, immortal species' worlds should quickly become insanely overpopulated, unless they have incredibly slow birth rates.
