It does run fine if you are playing locally with friend invites though it just crashes dedicated servers when added to the modlist of one.
NotARobot 21 Jan, 2023 @ 6:59pm
This mod has a habbit of crashing dedicated servers when used with other mods although i'm not sure what the exact issue is i had to go through 200+ mods 6 at a time to figure out what was crashing my hosted server and it was this mod.

OH my sweetest thank you for this and what you done
I wont download it now
I have too much stuff and If I try to get my hands on slopped terrain then I don't know if I will be able to get back or finish anything in Starbound again

Ah, one thing the template doesn't get into is the ID stuff... I have to do that myself to make sure there are no overlaps.

Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 14 Oct, 2020 @ 1:17pm
That might be a good idea. In terms of templates, the mod pak file used to have an image template in it so I can add that back again. Adding stuff isn't too hard.
Flicker_Fall 13 Oct, 2020 @ 3:36pm
Just gonna do some spitballing here.
(Also I hope your life is a little less stressful these days.)

What do you think about creating discussion threads on this mod where people can both request other block types, and submit patches/changes for said requested block types?

That way the community has an easy way to both keep track of requests and submit additions without the utter chaos of sifting through the workshop looking for a patch. You could even potentially create a template or something so that way integrating the submissions is easier on your end. (if that's a viable option, I mean.)

Unfortunately I am exceptionally bad at pixel art, I am better with coding. Sorry :T
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 30 May, 2019 @ 7:47pm
I'll see if I can get something done for you, but I cannot guarantee expediency, nor quality.
Madalovin 30 May, 2019 @ 4:25pm
Sorry to hear that mr man, hope ya iron all the things out thats botherin' ya.
I myself don't know much of moddin', and am mainly a consumer in that regard. Take care tho. :UltimateSheep:
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 30 May, 2019 @ 3:28pm
In shourt, this mod is open source, anyone can add/edit it and post their changes or request to have them added here for simplicity; and life sucks for me right now.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 30 May, 2019 @ 3:27pm
This is a fork of the original fork of the original mod, but I can see it having man made slopes. I still don't have a lot of time on my hands and mostly only log in to steam to chat with friends (I have the app on my cell). I don't know when I will be able to work on anything, but I do know that I have to find a new job and finish with some court stuff before I can get comfortable again. Feel free to add blocks if you want, I can post some templates if you need them. You can add them as your own mod, or you can give the files to me and I can add it to the mod; providing proper acknowledgement of course. Only converting the preexisting tiles to objects in the mod is my work, and I am actually apparently pretty bad at pixel art (I tried to change some stuff to be rougher, was a nightmare), so I don't really want much credit anyway. As you hopefully read in the description, I got bored and wrote a script to actually do all the heavy lifting for me; so even that I barely worked on.
Madalovin 30 May, 2019 @ 8:47am
Would request you please add Asphalt, Bricks, Concrete Tiles and a few of the industrial blocks into sloped variants. https://imgur.com/a/2IgRRSN (screencap of what I'm doin' fer reference.)
But I read yer post below, are there any intentions of continuing this mod further in the future?

Also in that link is a second screencap to point out some errors that occur anytime I'm hostin' a server. No problems have came out regarding it yet, but I thought I'd bring it up.
Wisdom 26 Mar, 2019 @ 1:29pm
ok
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 26 Mar, 2019 @ 11:35am
Ah, so blocks that are not ground blocks. Currently only ground blocks are sloped, while anything that would be used for "man-made" buildings is not. Unfortunately I don't have time IRL to add anything, but you can feel free to if you'd like and upload it as a separate mod. You can use the existing blocks in this mod as a template.
Wisdom 24 Mar, 2019 @ 7:58pm
i meant like, err... ye can craft shadow bricks but sloped or sloped wood and stuff
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 24 Mar, 2019 @ 4:43pm
So you mean a version that is not craft-able but everything is sloped normally? I think I already have a version like that.... :)
Wisdom 23 Mar, 2019 @ 11:11pm
ye should make a mod were all of the vanilla blocks are sloped
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 22 Mar, 2019 @ 11:58am
No worries, if any of them are not sloped just let me know. It isn't a problem if no one notices. ;)
Kenchi 22 Mar, 2019 @ 8:44am
If I recall correctly, I do believe the icons for the blocks I changed to just the vanilla ones as they fit the blocks type and what I was going for at the time. However, I can't recall if I did that with all of the blocks.

PS: Crap, I may have left some of the blocks with there sides flat rather then natural. You should probably not use those. owo
(I was working on something that simply made natural blocks smooth, intended for building modern homes and etc.... so that is why some blocks might not look "natural" in the file.)
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 21 Mar, 2019 @ 11:40am
If anything is wrong with this update, it is probably my fault. lol. Let me know if any more issues pop up.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 21 Mar, 2019 @ 10:35am
It is taking longer than expected to download, my internet is not the best currently.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 21 Mar, 2019 @ 9:55am
Heh, well the fact that you have modified any files at all makes you a modder. Modding takes patience and time, with a little know-how. There are a lot of resources online that can help you. The OpenComputers and ComputerCraft mods for minecraft can help you with learning LUA if you are interested, otherwise there are other resources online for that too.
Kenchi 20 Mar, 2019 @ 8:22pm
It was a little tedious for sure, but I was INCREDIBLY bored at the time. Plus, fixing this was only part of a little personal project I was making at the time.

Here's a link: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1ZMGzj65ujgAQlJWlCMfjLVoLa3a77Sgh

I'm no modder, honestly that little project I had ended up being for not, I'd be fine with this just getting some use at this point. ^-^
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 20 Mar, 2019 @ 2:37pm
Sure, that was no doubt tedious. I am sorry I couldn't get to it sooner, RL is pretty hectic for me right now. I appreciate your efforts. I don't want to hand out my email address, so could you upload it to a file sharing service? I'd say to just upload it yourself, but it would be easier for the current subscribers to get an update. With that being said, feel free to upload your own version if you want. There are no restrictions except making people pay for it.
Kenchi 20 Mar, 2019 @ 10:57am
@JaceEthaniel I actually already renamed every block and changed their description to match so. I could send it to you if you'd like. :)
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 19 Mar, 2019 @ 5:09pm
The blocks are all named that because I used a script to generate everything, I will rename the blocks as I have time.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 19 Mar, 2019 @ 5:08pm
Sorry about that, I have been away due to RL stuff, I will fix it.
Kenchi 26 Feb, 2019 @ 3:28pm
I just figured to mention this, but your cobblestone "itemDrop" is set to drop "cobblestone" which isn't correct and instead it just drops perfectly generic cubes. Instead it should say "cobblestonematerial". Just figured I'd might as well mention this. :]
Navis 25 Feb, 2019 @ 4:37am
All blocks have the same name "A titled block" in game.
Navis 17 Feb, 2019 @ 4:23pm
Thanks it works now. I don't really know neither how to add your mod into the used ids list.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 17 Feb, 2019 @ 1:58pm
Oh yea, forgot to mention that I fixed it ;P
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 16 Feb, 2019 @ 9:08pm
heads up to any one using this, I forgot to update some files, fixing now.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 16 Feb, 2019 @ 8:43pm
Just a note about that list, it appears to be creator updated and I dont know how to add my info to it. It isn't a priority for me though, I have some things I need to take care of IRL.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 16 Feb, 2019 @ 2:03pm
Ended up being busier than I expected, I am working on the IDs now.
Navis 15 Feb, 2019 @ 8:01am
I removed my comment by error, so I post again the link with all referenced ids used by mods.
https://starbounder.org/Modding:Materials:Mods
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 14 Feb, 2019 @ 1:18pm
I don't currently have the time to find unused Material IDs, but at a glance it looks like all the IDs are in use. I'll work on it later today.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 14 Feb, 2019 @ 1:17pm
Yea I have never been sure if that is is ever updated. Saying it is compatible with nothing is a bit of a stretch, I have plenty of mods that it is compatible with.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 14 Feb, 2019 @ 1:02pm
Ok, I changed the material ID. I don't know what IDs the mod that is conflicting is using, so it may conflict again. I am also not positive which mod is conflicting. Every time I have a conflicting material ID it always says it is conflicting with the same item, no matter what the ID is.
Navis 14 Feb, 2019 @ 12:49pm
Yeah I know, but others are caused by other mods which has no linked with the crash.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 14 Feb, 2019 @ 12:44pm
also, you have a lot of other errors in your log.
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 14 Feb, 2019 @ 12:43pm
That is because another mod you are using is using the same material ID as one of the blocks. I'll try to fix it.
28 Jan, 2019 @ 4:45pm
I held off on the other version, but this is perfect, thank you!
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 27 Jan, 2019 @ 3:03pm
No worries
Madalovin 27 Jan, 2019 @ 3:00pm
Thanks for making this mod from my request. :UltimateSheep::heart:
LA5K 25 Jan, 2019 @ 7:22pm
THX bro, this may enhance a lot of builds!!!
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 25 Jan, 2019 @ 6:26pm
yea, break them and they go back to normal blocks
LA5K 25 Jan, 2019 @ 6:01pm
Is there a way to turn back slopped restant blocks to normal ones?
Jace ∅ Ethaniel  [author] 24 Jan, 2019 @ 11:33am
Oh yea, I should put that in. hah. Thanks
