Ah, alright - collections are totally okay! I just get a lot of reupload requests and those can sometimes get very annoying to deal with.

We intend to use all mods in their original format and put them in a steam collection so that way each mod is individually displayed in it's proper original format with all proper notes and credits to their original creators. I did think about it at one point, but I didn't add them for a couple reasons:
- There aren't long-sleeved shirts in the vanilla game and I only really made this mod to simulate wearing one type of vanilla clothing over another type of vanilla clothing.
- It'd also be a lot of work ngl, since I'd have to add 45 new individual top combinations and each item also has 5 crafting recipes, so things add up really fast.
- As a Canadian I must respectfully say that I've worn T-shirts out in winter weather quite often. I'm mostly joking though about using that as a reason. Mostly.

Have you heard of or thought about adding long sleeve versions to the majority of these? I noticed that most of these only have short sleeves, and it would be realistic to have longer sleeves in closer places.

In other news, while I was at it, I made a hotfix for the mod fixing some minor errors.

I've been curious as to how many people actually still use this mod nowadays, so if you have a server with it installed, let me know in the new discussion thread and maybe I'll check it out sometime :)

UPDATE: The issue has been resolved as a conflict with another mod - this mod itself is working as intended, but a different mod has incompatibility issues. The identity of the incompatible mod is not yet known.

[The previous commenter has been contacted for context and troubleshooting. If it is determined to not be a clientside issue, a hotfix will be pending.]

Do you plan to fix the clothing appearing invisible when equipped? if not i think it would be fair to allow us to re-upload a fixed version of the mod as it is still heavily used.

@Kristian Davis the connotation of an "asset pack" is rather ambiguous to me.

If it is simply a Workshop collection (NOT an independent mod), such as how hundreds of other enthusiasts of this mod have been doing, that is totally fine.

However; I neither support, nor see a reason why my content should be reuploaded under another mod entirely. If that is your intention, I'd rather people just subscribe normally to this mod as it makes far more logistical sense.

some of your modded clothes like the layered parkas dont show on your character, as if they werent wearing clothes at all.

@Earl please read my below comments about why they don't need to spawn in any official map. They're craftable from vanilla clothing that every map already has.

@JayTheCasualGamer they do not, but here's why: every single piece of clothing in this mod is craftable from their vanilla constituents. This allows you to make layered clothing in any map, including modded ones, as long as they spawn the clothing you're trying to combine!

All the obtainable IDs have been included; you're likely referring to the type of top I'm wearing, which is an easter egg jacket I specifically created for myself (based on a jacket I wear IRL).

It may be secretly obtainable but I'm not going to tell you how :>

Suggestion: More industrial shirts with hoodies.

This is the best mod ever! Now you have a reason to keep your clothes and you will have less problems with storage and look cool at the same time.

if the suits were open rather than closed that'd be much better, as right now the difference is barely noticeable..

Maybe tops with tape on them? like tape on sleeves? it can add more protection or durability.

It's simple clothes and I like that.

@Sully416 I designed this mod primarily with the intention of making inferior clothing more viable (and more fashionable too, as a result) as opposed to clothing that is already considered endgame. The Thief Top is already the best vanilla top in storage and military clothing is very much already the main choice for most players, plus there's a lot of mods out there that already focus on military and bandit style clothing.

You may understand then, why I do not plan to add layered versions of Thief or Military tops.

Dunno if you're taking suggestions or not, but layering the Thief top and maybe military items would be very cool.

What I would really like to see is having something like this, but with every wearable in-game, such as being able to put a helmet under a hat, or hiding miltiary or police vests under clothes. Also being able to wear multiple things on the face, such as having a red balaklava, but also waring a red bandana over that. just my 2 cents

@T.lebedev Rather than spawning, every one of these items is meant to be crafted by you from the vanilla clothing that drops in the map. Find the outer and inner layer clothing items individually, and in the Apparel tab you can combine them into one item! If that wasn't enough, you can also salvage the layered clothing for the combined cloth values of both pieces.

It fits perfectly and is usable on all maps that spawn vanilla clothing to begin with.
