The emblem infinite loop softlocking the game is really annoying and making the character a bit less enjoyable on the combo-side aspect of it. Adding at least a time or count limit to it would be so much better, like after reaching the max qty. of elemental energy it stops cycling. (dunno what it is but if it's in the same logic as the base game it should be 99 or 999)

Is the mod open source or not ? Cause i'd love to just do that fix even if it's for myself.

When entering the second campsite, it shows the string "shoulder.png" instead of an image of the elementalist. First campsite was fine - since then I added second elemental specialization (yellow circlet).

I love this mod. I like it the most among the class mods. But... when is it going to have an update?

will this mod ever get an update again, it actually is pretty fun and unique compared to other mods, though i do wish element casting could replace normal energy costs in a lot of situations where I have excess elements but just not enough energy to work with

I have a poor initial impression of the Elementalist ... doesn't have enough elemental energies to work with ... if he gained 1 random element at the end of his turn, that would balance well.

PLEASE add options to prevent enemies/relics/enemies/events to appear when using other characters! Otherwise, I need to put this mod in the timeout corner...

This mod is pretty much broken with any small deck runs. The elemental cards need to be changed to be 0 cost that you play because they too easily fall into an infinite loop if they're the only things in your draw/discard piles. My recent run had twelve cards in my deck. I drew all eight of my non-elemental and the remaining 4 cards set to cycling infinitely and soft-locked my game.

if you see somewhat triangle-like Keys (called Ruby Keys, Sapphire Keys or Emerald Keys) , those are not from this mod. Those are from the base game.

if you want to know why they started suddenly appearing in your game, well... google can help you. or at least, I hope StS wiki can tell you in more detail.

I ended up my first run with casual 1600 max HP against the Heart.... so you know, some combos like Ferruchemy plus Overheat might need some tuning in terms of balance xD. Other than that, this mod looks amazing, and I love how fun and unique it is. Congrats for the good work.

@Enzeru you can't right click the relic before getting into combat (example : when still talking to Neow, or after getting Neow's blessing but still on the map and haven't clicked anything) . You have to engage in the first monster combat first (be in the same floor/room) , and then right click the relic while in combat for it to work.

Alright, I really like the look of this mod, but I can't seem to get graduation letter to work for some reason. Is there something beyond just right clicking the relic that I need to do?

Emblems shouldn't draw a card more than once per turn, otherwise it's pretty easy to get into an infinite loop.

Hi, two others bugs :
- I just draw 3 more card with centenial puzzle while i got only two emblems card on my deck : they just cycle so i have no choice except quit ;
- Actually, the level up in the firecamp is weird, either you chose an emblem and you can do another action, or either you chose a card and the firecamp is finished. And if you save and quit you have no access anymore to the level up for this camp.

Encountered a couple bugs:
- Monument sometimes doesn't exhaust on kills. Not sure what triggers it, seems random, happens both when Earthcasting and not. Card was upgraded.
- Aerial Dodge (gained from upgraded Breeze) seems to give +2 Dexterity when triggered consistently, but says it should be giving +1.

Not running any other mods at the moment (except required), so it shouldn't be conflict-related. Very fun mod though! Thank you for creating and sharing it!

One of the first mods where I didn't win my first run, so that's a good start. But I also lost a 1v1 with Lagavulin at full hp, so that's cool.

definitely my favourite mod so far, its fun and the build variety is great. also love the fact its not that easy to win with and i am looking forward to where its development goes

The mod is extremely fun to play with a bunch of unique ideas; although, the builds do seem a bit weak at times. Probably one of the more difficult characters in my view.

First off, I wanted to say that I really appreciate the idea behind the class!

Secondly... well, I've got a bit of a bug myself. When playing Erosion, despite having both an Earth and Water element, and then just a Water the second time, the Water effect for it (pulling a card from the deck with it costing one less) doesn't seem to be triggering.

2 bugs I found during my last stream are that heavensfall seems to not do half damage to flying creatures and that flame does both cost effects even if you only have 1 fire energy. This bug may happen with all 1 1 cost cards but I am not sure.

i like the mod so far their is only one small bug i see happening and that is with smoke bomb.
i got a decent deck and was up against the slave elite guy. and i smoke bomb to dodge a bullet but the attacks kept happening i couldn't do anything about it.

Actually Monument just sometimes does not exhaust because it wants to not exhaust even when earth cast. Sometimes it does sometimes it does not. In my case it hit for exactly enough to kill in case that helps you find the bug.

Monument does not exhaust unless you earthcast even though it increases the damage. It is also unclear if the effect is supposed to do that effect only when earthcast or any time it kills.

I haven't unlocked everything yet, and so far the elementalist is fun. However, I believe that:

-Some Watercasting cards should be able to give minor healing (haven't seen any)
-Some Aircasting cards should be able to give energy (again, haven't seen anything other than card draw).
-More 0 cost cards that cost elements to actually do something (like stone to mud, etc)

just my opinion. Again, I love a balanced character, but I really feel like the elementalist is lacking ground simply because I often find myself "having a f#@kload of elements but no energy to actually play cards". I can finally do something next turn, and at that point I've lost more health than I should've. if only we could more reliably convert the elements we have into card draw and energy.

or, alternatively, if only there were more element-cost cards than energy-costing cards.

TL;DR = Managing multiple resources suck.
Maybe i just suck at this game in general :/

Actually the Necronomicon bug is coming from the fact that instead of saving how much energy you paid on the x cost for both cards it is trying to pay energy twice.

Also the bug I ran into with bottled emblems also occurs when they are the first card drawn in combat.

There is a bug where if you have Necronomicon and play blaze the second form will charge you for the elemental cast and not do the effect for it.

It is odd as it triggers the drawing mechanic portion of the card which means that it is trying to give you the energy before your energy totals are initialized most likely. Making it so that they don't appear as an option for lightning in a bottle would I think be the best fix if you can't get it to actually work. That way you avoid the bug altogether.

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to fix this within the constraints of Basemod. Additionally, Emblem specifically describes "when a card is *drawn*", which does not occur in the cases described.

Small bug where if you have an emblem in a bottled lightning it will not give you the energy we it is put in the opening hand but will still discard.

Possible relic idea when an enemy with windburn dies transfer the windburn to a random enemy or the player.

While I agree that Heavensfall is quite a powerful card in the right hand I don't think it needs a nerf as if you nerf all the cards that are really good in specific areas the game becomes very overtuned and unfair for the player. Heavensfall may need a nerf because it is good in nearly all situations though.

Suggested possible change to form cards on upgrade have them go back to being on every elemental cast and maybe to balance it bring the number back down to 1 if needed.

Played it again and this time it was really fun, i like the changes you have made. Some cards are a little bit op when you draw them at the right time like Earthquake and Heavensfall.
