2025 and still no other mod that allows us to make Marine armor from choice materials. Still works, still GOAT'd.

Since this mod has been reported working in 1.5 I added it to the No Version Warning-mod

To anyone who comes here to question if it functions, yes it does still work perfectly fine in 1.5, its just not tagged for it.

this mod only uses patches, in theory it should still function in 1.5.

Hello.
Love your mod which SEEM to be working fine, but is throwing some errors on loading :

[Marine Armor Materials - Start of stack trace]
Verse.PatchOperationRemove(xpath="/Defs/ThingDef[defName = "Apparel_ArmorMarineGrenadier"]/statBases/ArmorRating_Heat"): Failed to find a node with the given xpath

and later

I've tried with no mods but the official expansions and I still get theses. Any idea what my be the error ?

hello, i am a CE user and have Noticed this Mod is VERY sporadically working with CE in terms of the basic Power armor (Recon, Marine, and Cataphract and its prestige variants) because in the same game i had Steel Marine armor have both .93mm RHA and 21.37mm RHA, But other than that if you have Mods like VAE, The Siegebreaker/Heavy Marine armor is more consistent than the base game Versions of armor, but if Anyone seeing this can patch things for CE this mod should be patched ASAP as it brings a level of Flavor to the game that is Needed and should have been base game

Will there be a patch update for "Royal Arsenal" to become stuffable with this mod? Just asking.

I had previously asked the mod owner and he said it will become stuffable with this mod,but I have yet to see any changes.

So a question, but has anyone got the slightest idea how to patch this mod with CE? I enjoyed this mod for providing spacer tech armour that didn't need replacing after one or two battles under Yayo's combat, but having recently switched to CE and encountering the issue TeslaCola mentioned below can't help but feel sad. I did have a look at the CE patch tutorials, but even with those I couldn't for the life of me figure out where to start with patching these mods. Anyone have more of an idea than me?

For those wondering, CE does not like this mod. While it does work (and will not throw errors) the resulting power armor are functionally worthless as armor, with an example suit of steel power armor having .93 mm RHA.

They've added that stuff to VAE since I last worked on it. I'll work on getting this updated soon.

The prestige Siegebreaker helmet from Vanilla Armours expanded seems to have been missed when you patched that mod... the Seigebreaker Armor itself is stuffable though. Also... the trooper & prestige trooper armors are not stuffable from the same mod are not stuffable so... maybe there is something else to it?

If you can't interact well with the Spartan armor mode as you move on to the version of limworld 1.3, please watch this.
To interact with the Spartan mode, I had a problem that the helmet was made of just plastic.
I open the file and open the "RSFPatch" sauce in the middle of the mod.

This worked without any problems.

This corresponds to the continuous mode, so if the Spartan mode is officially updated and an error occurs, you just need to remove the continue.

Could this mod support the Spartan Foundry (Continued) mod? It doesn't interact with it at all. By the same token, could there be support for the Spartan Foundry Warcraft mod, which makes amours other than CQB craftable?

I updated this mod to 1.3. The only compatibility patch I included was for VAE as it is the only one I use. I am so glad I checked this for updates! I just got my hands on Royalty and Vanilla Armour Expanded, and was having trouble with the fact that this one mod metal made VAE's Advanced Vest more viable than their Trooper Armour. Now I can make Trooper Armour out of the same stuff! Thanks a million!

Is there a way you could add the crypto armour from Vanilla exanded vikings? There's a mod that makes it craftable and I thought it would be cool to have it stuffable.

Could you extend this feature to the trooper armor from VAE as it is a light powered armor? That and possibly the crypto armor from VFE: Vikings.

Both are nearly rendered irrelevant if using this with a powerful material mod. (like imperial guard mod ceramite and adamantium, or the archotech+ mod materials)

This mod is not compatible with CE at all. In fact, Glitter Tech materials which should be incredibly powerful if turned into armor is only a small percentage of what the base values are in CE. I'll try changing the load order to see if this changes the numbers.

after i put the mod in my game, the entire map got covered by a grey color for a second every few seconds. i added the mod midgame. also is there a chance you could make a patch for the armor from 'Talons Faction New pawns and races'?
