I'm guessing that's because Inter based these anims on the default, pre-TLS ones that did not have aim layer or even walking animations. But that's a poor excuse given I often have to remove the aim layers from my mods because they break on decompile and I lack the competence to fix them.

@CillKill, you can hex a model of your choice, and it will only work offline. Keep in mind that the script will also have to change the BuiltRightHanded value, or else the whole thing would be mirrored (or, in some cases, turned inside out).

You're a fairly active modder on here, is there a way i can model swap say a m16 skin for a awp? I have a script for a semi auto awp i made but i cant find a good skin thats not a bolt action.

@THE-LAST-SAINT, I do not own ww2, and do not intend to. I always leave my compiles without firing sounds for exactly the reason you mentioned, plus I'll release a firing sound from cod4 soon.

you could add the firing sound from the colt 45 from latest cod ww2 game.
but you could also leave it the way it is now! so peeps can add there own sounds

Best weapon animations , weapon design and sounds all packaged together on the magnum that I've ever seen. I can really see and feel the impact of this weapon everytime I pick it up and fire it. 11/10

And the best thing about the firing sounds is that they are in "colt45" folder, but named "usp".

@Lilith, I have given it all three original reloading sounds of the M1911 (mag out, mag in, slide release), but for this animation set I had to use something else for the slide pull, and USP's "chamber" sound was just the thing. The USP itself reused M9's release sound until MW3, where its "chamber" sound doesn't actually make much sense.

It uses its own chambering sound in both MW1 and 2, but reuses the USP's firing sound.

The model/texture files are simply affixed "white", leaving the actual finish ambiguous.

@Linky, if we assume this one is based on the SA "Loaded" model, then this has a stainless steel finish. Nickel plated 1911s look sexy, too.

I like the M1911. But for some reason, I've really liked the Nickel-Plating.
