Hello! {Octoling #5674} KillerOfOld! I have the solution to this problem:

Right click on the octoling, scroll down to 'set body groups' and scroll down to the feet. You can turn off their visibility, so they don't appear to glitch out of the boots.

I cannot for the life of me get the shoes to go on the feet without the feet clipping through? Does anyone know how to do it?

its good, dont get me wrong, but i literally have no idea how to use it.. they come without clothes and manually putting them on is tricky, along with trying to move them with the models even when i did put them on but its really accurate!

Fun fact: you can animate the ink bag by 1. activating the inflated ink bag in body groups (BodyOut), 2. Adding scale control to bp_BombRootScale, and animating with the slider. You're welcome.

If you mean the toes sticking out, rightclick your octoling, go to "Set Bodygroups" and change legs to "M_Legs_Short" or some sort. Inklings don't have this solution unfortunately

hey there! i was wondering something. when i loaded in the models and tried applying them to the octolings, they seemed to be small, or just would not fit right. is there anything you recommend doing to sort this issue out?

Are you using enhanced inkling models by FissionMetroid? If so... well, you can only use $alpha in Element Viewer to remove shorts. I don't know why they didn't make an adequate bodygroup for clothes removal.

you can adjust $detailblendfactor parameter just like with ink meter ($inkfill):
1) right-click the model, add override materials, right-click it again and open in Element Viewer as a model
2) look for M_Body (or M_Body_env, depends on which skin you use), right-click, add attribute - float. Call it $detailblendfactor.
You can enter any value from 0 to 1 to change the glow intensity.

You know... maybe I should update these models once again, with some of them getting vertex normal fixed, and making the ink meter actually bodygroupable. I don't know what I was thinking.

The QC stuff was not addressed to you. You said you couldn't find the model, I said: type "legwear" in model search. The skirt is called "octoagent_legwear_female_pbr".

After reading up some more on PBR materials (RIP Facepunch), it seems to me that the CustomHero shader is the crux of SFM faux-PBR (albedotinted envmaps), above all else.

Fitne Por: in the QC compile file, it goes after the dielectric model and therefore renders after it.

Right click the model - Add Override Materials
Right click it again - show in element viewer - model
Open "materials" line, find "M_Ink_Drain" or "OctoInkTank_Ink_Drain", right click it - add attribute - "float", name it $inkfill
Type in whatever value you want from 0 to 1 (more value = more ink, 1 is full)

godzilla.biollante not on SFM Workshop, only enhanced models with a little bit different body proportions. The model shown on the pictures I have ripped from Garry's Mod workshop .gma file https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1544841933
To extract models and textures from a .gma file, I used a tool called GMAd.
