I have had the greyed out thing happen to me also, dont know why.

There is one trick you could try, go through the BUILD menu, SCENARIO tab, find the route, then scenario title, click on EDIT, when it loads just hit the play button in the lower right and see if it plays.

I have all the DLC needed for this run. Yet when i go to drive its greyed out. I have this on 1 or 2 other scenarios. Anyone know why?

a good trip, Ai and signals all ok. that was a relaxing run, just the right amount of work on a line
