Hi, I made a Spanish translation of your mod. I’d like to know if I have your permission to keep it posted, or if there’s any issue with the translation or anything else.

Thanks for the great mod — I love it! :beeped:

it has a sheath, though, and i flipped it when it's holstered
Trinity 2022
hey, man, I made a new version of this with uv maps for kenshi, it's in my "The Fury" mod, you can grab that model if you want and deciminate it that way
the damage is low man, why not make it more powerfull

It's @Aristotel himself! Best to listen to him
It's not a gladius. It's either a kopis or falcata. Since it has a sharper point and more chopping weight at the end, i'd say it's kopis for sure
ArchangelLiamYT_TTV 2019 年 6 月 4 日 上午 4:38
Its called a Gladius. But sill nice mod. Works great

Have you thought to make a guide on creating weapons for kenshi? Every modding guide I've found is focused on armor or dialogue.

Can you make and upload some swords from the Lord of The Rings trilogy?
Good mod, the sword should have a smaller handle but i think the movie made it bigger. I love the mod.
I dont know if he is right, but i know the sword 'xiphos' pronounced as 'ksee-fos' was used in greek army with the 'dory spear'.
I found this video on the weapon 'Xiphos'

I found this text from a buddy named SiMoN SeZ
Spartans - used the sword known as the 'Falcata' . Related to the Macedonian kopis, an ancient single-edged sword with a heavy forward-curving blade. The term derivates from Latin "falcatus", meaning literally "falcon-shaped". The falcata was shaped with a straight single edge for the first half or so of the blade before bending slightly, widening and gaining a double edge which led to a sharp point. The blade was thinner in the middle with a bulge near the tip which gave the blade good weight and momentum for swinging blows while still allowing for quick thrusts.
The hilt was made with the same piece of metal as the blade and almost always wrapped around to form a handguard. The quality of the sword combined with the design allowed it to function as a light sword, but with the power to cut through shields or shatter inferior weapons. It was especially adept at lopping off spear points as the widest part of the blade acted as a hatchet.

It's not 40kg, it's 4kg
Con 2019
This is a really cool weapon, but I gotta agree with the previous poster, the weight is kinda crazy. Good stuff otherwise though!
it's heavier than a fragment axe at higher level weapon smithing levels. 40kg is kinda absurd.
@Krontixious Yeah, I was thinking that because of its pointed tip, I added a little piercing damage (not much but its there) and having a bonus modifer to humans would make more sense so thanks for that idea, however, I'm not too sure about the armour penetration so I'll test it out and you can see in the next update if I thought it was good idea :steamhappy:
Animecore 2019 年 2 月 22 日 下午 12:36
Spray painted-on tattoos not included.
Would you consider adding some armour penetration to the sword? Historically the weapon was actually way smaller than in the movie 300, but it was also good at piercing light/medium armour in close combat and was made to glide through human flesh. Maybe add a bonus modifier to human damage, maybe a little higher bleed rate and some armour penetration? Nothing too OP, just a little to make it more unique.
Big Nasty 2019
@deni why would you want a shield? theres no animation for a shield?
Thanks for this mod. Best weapon I've seen added to the game so far. Can you put it on vendor lists please.
Would be nice to have shield :/
Ahh, cool
I plan on creating better versions of the sword with visual appearance to distinguish them apart, the better ones will be stronger as they'll have less rust. Also, I plan on adding blueprints after I figure out other things.
Really good looking weapon, works well and great for early game playing, but I feel It'll be extremely limited by the time one can afford things from Black Desert City or make weapons of Catun No. 1 or better. Will there be the ability to make better versions of the weapon or find/buy better ones? And will there be one of Meitou variety?
Awesome looking sword, any plans to add stronger versions of the sword?
@Trinity Sure, I don't mind.

This is KENSHI!!! -kicks Hiver into the Forbidden Zone-
The only thing I would recommend would be to add a blueprint, other than that, this is perfect.
Do you mind if I use this in a mod I've been working on?
