@Kovaelin - The Gamber from this mod is in a different location, so whilst there will be 2 gamblers after you finish the quest, they won't conflict :)
SenatorWaffles  [author] 1 Sep, 2013 @ 7:08pm
@Chronic - only if you find him, which occurs later in the Act

there already is a gambler in zepherysh

What happens when you save the gambler in Act 2?

he lokes like the trader from resident evil 4

Let me know if you want the files / how to get them to you, will be gone for a few days though, so don't expect anything before Monday

Awesome man!

Edited your files to make them modular, worked like a charm ;)
SenatorWaffles  [author] 12 Aug, 2013 @ 8:09pm
oooh I didn't know you could make merge files! Thanks for the info man. I'll check it out :)
Currently the NPC is just a clone of the gambler - so he's called Gambler in Act1 and (I think) Gambler2 in Act2

Manual editing = essentially remove everything but your addition

You can create a merge file of your gambler instead of adding it to the existing layout. This way it is compatible with other mods that change the layout. Look at Chewtoy's Toy Collector mod, that is what I used to figure it out - needs some manual editing of the layout file though.

Alternatively, what is the name of the NPC you added, then I can locate it and make it a merge file for my mod (in a few days...) and send the merge file to you too.

That would explain it.

According to Runic, there's no merge functionality in mod loading =/
So any mod which changes content in Estherian Enclave & Zeryphesh will supercede this if it's placed in a higher priority. I haven't used Syn, but if it adds additional vendors/content in either town it'll be loaded instead of this.
Kenday 9 Aug, 2013 @ 7:30pm
Have it placed at second priority after Syn and still not working. Shame. Guess I'll just have to wait...

Yes, I seem to have less than a hundred gold in by stash nowadays :(

I'd be all over this, except I admit I have a gambling addiction and acts 1+2 are the only chances I have to save money.
