No, it won't affect those guns.
@Ban4000 2.0;
If I ever get off my lazy arse, then I'll probably do that.
@zachery:
I don't use FFS, so I won't be making the version of this mod for it. However, once I update it (eventually) to patch in a much more straightforward way, I will not attest others using it to create an FFS version as long as I am credited. As for the second thing, that request can be better accomplished through Bam's request.
And is there ability to make the guns (i.e. machine guns) prepare/reload faster?
why am I saying this here anyways?
It gets troubling if you use armor that boasts energy or the RPG Growth mod.
1) No clue mate.
2) It's safe to uninstall.
3) For anyone who wants to keep using this, you can download the legacy version (non updated) here: https://community.playstarbound.com/resources/lyetzis-gunners-mod.547/

Agreed, something like that would be lovely. Once the new versions of the newly renamed FFS comes out, I'll see what I can do if the movement system isn't made better.
No, as they are different guns. To allow slowdown to be removed in that mod, I would need to make a whole secondary mod, which I shall consider.
Personally, I know far to little to add more myself. However, may I direct you towards Lyetzi's Gunshop Mod which has much more content?
I do not know the developer, nor do I develop the mod at all myself. I only made a patch.
However, no, not currently. When Usehi eventually comes back, if ever, they will likely begin.
As far as I know, there's not a way to patch a lua file. You can only patch files saved in json formats. All the movement reducers are coded in lua, but the guns are set up in json.
It depends on which slowdown your talking about. The "Cautious" status effect is gone completely, yes. However, the effect for the guns is coded in LUA and is difficult to edit. Each gun refers to a list of different options. All guns use one of these, if I remember correctly, six files. What I did was replace the line that selected this effect with the Pistol one, which automatically set the movement penalty to that of the pistol; nonexistent. This is why it takes a long time to do something like this. However, that doesn't mean I won't.
I still need to get back into Starbound, so soon I'll begin working on it.
