Interestingly.
I downloaded this map using the Steam Workshop Downloader and put all the files into SFM Testing file and to my surprise, it works.
No bullshit No light thingy and it runs smoothly.
I think I might go and make maps out of Blender.
If I have time using Blender.

Kinda, I just didn't convert brushes; I started with Blender first. I think its similar to how they port maps from the Wind Waker and Super Mario Sunshine.

hmmmm, so similar to using wallworm in 3ds max to convert brushes to models except a more proper way of doing that then. Sounds alot easier aswell then using 3ds max too so I might try it out aswell then

Basically the whole room is modeled in Blender and dropped into a hammer map as a model. Brushes surround the model only to prevent leaks. Lighting is baked directly into the models textures.

I made a collision model for all the items within the room but hit the limit on the number of collision hulls since its one model. So then I did the walls and floors with brush-based collision.

The "noises" can be shutoff with "stopsoundscape" followed by "stopsound" in the console.
