i'm not sure if someone has already covered this, if so, sorry about the redundancy. Upon doing some experimentation , the mod disallows the "Industrial Assembler" to add "Heavy Armor Blocks" to the production Queue(Different Components than vanilla). I also played with the mod order with the SE Modder's "Mega Mod Pack" and found no observable difference. I read that you have some RL stuff going on and I regret that for you. Hats off to you, Geneticus! This is precisely what I've always wanted from space engineers, I cannot properly express my joy at finding this, the greatest of mods. Can't thank you enough for making this the game it was meant to be!

part two

If i load these two with the other mods, the G menu memory spike happens, without these two the memory raises some when the G menu us added, but not much.

Can you look into this and see if there is something that can me fixed? I really like these mods and was hoping to continue using them..

I just wanted to pass along the error i am seeing.

i ran into an issue when Keen updated yesterday. i had recently re added this mod and the progression mod back into the game. the game loads with these two in the mod list. runs about 5.4G if memory in use. but when the G menu is selected, the memory spikes and hits over 12G. then the game crashes.

I came back to this mod and the progression mod after seeing them mentioned in the Eden's Wrath and CCM/CMM mods. i use those all the time.

I am used to having to trouble shoot the mods whenever Keen changes things.. Its sad, but true..

So i started the basic mod troubleshooting. loaded a game with none to ensure things were fine. then started adding mods back in with each reload. I was mid way through that when i remembered these two were the last ones added. so i skipped to testing these.

While I'm here, I might as well give a status. Yes this mod is broken. I have a bunch of fixes, but as soon as I have a new mod version ready, a new patch seems to break everything again...These mods are a HUGE amount of text changes. Getting the cubeblocks file matching what is needed for a new patch takes about three days with KDiff and hand edits.

On top of all that, I am dealing with a family crisis and have to pull back severely on how much time I can dedicate to any gaming at all. So this is going to probably sit fallow for a while.

I recommend looking at what Zacron is putting together since he supplied a large amount of the materials needed for the prerequisite mods. his workshop is here

Babba, dont hold your breath. this mod is BROKEN. no updates in awhile and probably no updates anytime soon. we cant even get an explanation like "im busy and trying" or any interest in him pursuing progression. Gen, give the mod to someone who cares or remove it completely so we can all stop wasting our time trying to make it work and coming back here (over and over) in hopes youve checked in. i wish it were different, i dont like to be the guy who says it, but it is what it is..

ok, I know you are prolly working on the mod since the economy update. but there was an issue i was able to confirm this mod causing prior to the update.

Fresh game, survival mode, etc.. without the mod, i can move ice in/out of a stock O2/H2 processor. load only this mod, and i cannot put ice in the processor. Ideas or suggestions?

i have used this mod for a long time, and really really want to keep using it. any ideas or fixes would be appreciated..

I am not seeing the Tiered assemblers in the G menu, suggestions on what might be conflicting?

I have isys's inventory running, it sees blueprints that are missing blueprints. but i cannot fine those in my stock assemblers. so i was going to try to add these in.

just trying to understand what can be produced from these assemblers that cannot be produced in a vanilla assembler.

Hey, I'm a huge fan of your mod, but apparently I'm unable to get aluminum or a refinery to melt my tungsten ore... is there a readme or a spreadsheet or something like that? I'm stuck with low-tech for quite a while now -.-

Hey Gen,
To start, amazing mods and fantastic work. However, while modding with your mods in my packs, I found something with how you coded the assemblers and the HALO UNSC weapons mod. I can craft all munitions and no guns. Their mod page says to use basic assemblers to craft the guns due to one of Keen's updates and your mod wont allow for what i think is that tier gun to be crafted.

Fixed it. Setting the hydrogen tank to share with everyone seemed to help. As did starting and restarting the engines.

I have a small hydrogen tank, a hydrogen evaporator, a NiMH battery and a hydrogen engine on a small ship I'm working on. The hydrogen evap will take hydrogen bottles and fill the hydrogen tank, but the hydrogen will not go into the hydrogen engine. Is there something I'm missing?

Anyone know what material I can get sulphur from that can be processed in the basic survival kit? Need to make some batteries to power the large survival kit, but can't locate any sulphur

T3 refinery without upgrades- 80 Fe from 1k illmenite
T4 refinery with upgrades- 15 Fe from 1k illmenite

That was intentional, but it was also done almost two years ago when there was a shitload of Iron in every Asteroid.

Another thing that seems off:

With CMM loaded in the mod list Iron ore becomes Ilmenite (mostly underground spawns) and Hematite (aboveground boulders). Without it explicitly added, Just Gen's V2 and the progression mod, it's all just Iron Ore. Not sure if that is intended or not due to how Iron ore is treated by the other components of the mod.

Most ores in the large survival kit are processed in lots of 100 kg, Iron ore is processed in 1 kg increments. In the Basic Refinery its even worse as it becomes .1kg increments, the Refinery(Basic)- Arc Furnace also processes Iron ore in .1kg increments. The result is that Iron ore takes forever to actually process.

Am I doing this wrong and should be adding in CMM and CMC to the loading list rather than only Gen's V2 and expecting them to be called in as dependencies?

T4/T5 Refineries with full yield modules are still giving less resources than the T3 refineries after the latest update.

Using 10k Ilmenite as a control:

T3 4.55k Gravel, 668 O, 338 Mg, 666 Ti, 777 Fe
T4 750 Gravel, 136 O, 69 Mg, 136 Ti, 159 Fe
T5 1.23k Gravel, 208 O, 105 Mg, 207 Ti, 242 Fe and 238 Mn

Really enjoying the mod, one thing on the progression though. Can medical components be made available from the survival kits? Having to deconstruct a starting kit to make the next one just ends up being a pain if something goes wrong

just to be clear on "Basic Refinery" it is the one within the progress UI that enables elite refineries, modules and reactors. Also is crashing my DS setup when processing ore

Actually I just fixed this and a couple others as well. Check the Change Notes Tab when I publish it for a list of all changes. I want to load it and make sure I didn't cause any obvious errors first...
