Is it possible to switch civilization on the SAME TURN, not the NEXT TURN?

Like if i switch to other Civ on Turn 1, i would play as other Civ on same Turn 1

But this mod makes me control other Civ only on Turn 2 if i switch on Turn 1. And so on.

It means i can't properly play as all civs simultaneously ><
As if i would play, for example, 12 civs one by one, then by time i switch to 12th civ, it would be 12th turn. Which means i haven't played first 11 turns as them.

Would be nice to have an option to not let your civ to be taken by UI.

As in, just to play as other Civ after you end turn, and then go back to your main Civ.

Hello, it seems that I've encountered an issue, and I'm not sure if you could take a look at what might have gone wrong. I enabled AI control around 300 turns, typically turning it off every 20 turns. Then, I manually handled the World Congress every 30 turns. I remember clicking on the world ranking a few times while watching the AI operate (I'm not sure if this is the issue, but I don't think it should be?). You can refer to the problem I discovered later: the world ranking has a bug, where the first few items display as unusable, and while diplomacy is displayed, my diplomatic score has surpassed the victory condition of 20 points, but I still haven't achieved victory, indicating that there is indeed an issue. I hope you could help me figure it out. Most of the mods I'm using are UI changes, with one being a cheat menu.

So, If I wanted to use this in conjunction with a unit-movement cheat mod, could I theoretically switch between civs and move their starting settlers to different locations, before switching back to my own civ to do the same, before actually progressing to turn 2?

Awesome mod! Quick question... why is my government stuck? I cannot open the government window or change my policies and can only end the turn via this mod because it wants me to change my policies. Is there any fix to this bc it only happened after I saved and loaded again which means all my progress before is corrupt.

For some reason this does not work. It just says the civilization that you switched from is making there turn forever.

Does this work in multiplayer? I am trying to play the vikings scenario with two other friend and us being Byzantine, the weird Spain country and Charlemagne.

Also noticing a glitch that some of my units are disappearing after changing back, I had 3 archers and I don't know if the AI deleted them for some reason while I was absent for 1 turn, or if it was a glitch.

Love this mod, however it sucks that if you want to switch to another civ to change something and then switch back to yours, you loose a turn and AI plays your civ for a turn which can really mess stuff up. I wonder if that's possible to stop? Nonetheless a great mod, thank you heaps! :)

I would love it if autoplay zero meant it didn't autoplay. Sometimes I just might want to get rid of someone's pesky settler but don't need everything else messed up. I have no skills in coding these things but if you had a way to do something like this at some point, that would be awesome.

It's not working, i can't play with the switched civ. It enters in autoplay even when autoplay = 0

@Zur13, awesome mod, thanks for sharing, I had ton of fun! But is it not possible to end turn and play as the next civ on the same turn?

I played as my main civ on turn 5, then, considering that AI has not made its turn on turn 5, I wanted to play as AI on turn 5, but it switches to AI on turn 6, so I can't make moves on the same turn. Then when I switch back to my main civ, its turn 7 already, which is understandable because my civ moves first.

Ideally it would be: Turn 5, my turn, then switch to AI, turn 5 still, then switch back to myself - turn 6 already. Maybe there is some easy tweak in game files to make it possible.....

is there a way to stop autoplay when i switch, i want to give the other civs a research and civic boost and then return to my civ without the ai messing things up for me?

If you are trying to speed things up for an AI so that they are as great as you, what you could do Is change to that civilization and then save the game, exit to the main menu and then load the game you just saved, then the cheat mod menu should work and with this you can add gold, duplicate units, etc... Note: I am talking about how to use both this mod and the other mod that lets you cheat from the little UI screen on the top left corner.

@crafterkitty06 I'm not sure if I understand you correctly but if you mean you click on some civilization and UI disappeared then you can use the ESC key to stop autplay (it will stop when next turn starts).

@asorel I will check it when I have some free time but I'm pretty sure that this happened because AI for some reason decides that you have too much troops and gets rid of "excess" units. AI controls your civilization for the rest of the turn even if autoplay turns is set to 0.

I thought there might be a conflict with other mods, but even after I disable everything else the units still get deleted.

Thanks, but I had autoplay turns set to 0, and it was still autoplaying indefinitely. I eventually got it to work since I made that comment, but now every time I switch, all of my civ's military units are deleted when I switch back.

@asorel Autoplay stays active as much turns as you have set in the turns field alternatively you can close the mod window (Esc hotkey) to turn off autoplay at any time.

How long should one expect the autoplay to stay on? I can switch to another civilization fine, but when I try to switch back, the "autoplay active" screen doesn't go away. I've been waiting for several minutes now, and it still says "autoplay active" in the bottom right. I can still navigate around the map, and tooltips still appear when hovering over various parts of the map, but that's all.

Mod can't change original game files if you have installed it using Steam Workshop. This mod does not change original game UI except it adds it's own completely new window and it adds a button to the top panel so it can't mess up the map UI. And even if it somehow could do it disabling it should fix any issues of this kind.

If you have changed the game files and want to fix it use Verify Integrity of Game files command from the Steam it will repair the game installation.

P.S. Did you know that some mods that are vital for the saved game will be enabled even if you have disabled them in the mod manager when you load that saved game. Check the list of active mods in the loaded game in the game pause menu.

Your Mod broke my Civ6 Game. After i installed it and tested it, i get always the following problem: After a rocket starts (Moon, Mars etc), and you see the Movie animation, then when you come back to the game, all City Names are always displayed in front of the game and all menus.

Started PC new, deactivated all my mods, deinstalled your mod, but the problem stays. Even tried to load a older save-game from yesterday, before i installed your mod today didnt helped. ALways when i load a savegame, and get the Rocket-Start Animation Video, the City Names are displayed in front of the UI.

Could it be that your mod changed original Civ6-Files?

All worked perfect yesterday even after the Rocket Videos (had Moon yesterday without Problems). The only mod i installed today was yours.

Sorry I've miss clicked and removed your comment. Reincarnation is the gameplay mod and this is a simple tool to autoplay the game or switch to any civilization you want. This mod does not provide any gameplay integration just a simple window where you can select how long to autoplay and to which civilization you will be switched.

@Nikki I had such lag one time with my other mod I don't know what exactly helped me but try to disable all mods you have exit the game start the game again and then just enable all mods you have back including Cheat Civilization Switch.

whish there was a way that the AI didn't controll your units when ending the turn. The AI always screw up my formations.
Is there a way to immidiatly control the AI in the same turn instead of controlling it the next turn?

@Lesslife It is capped because I made the mod pretty quick and just took most of the GUI from my map editor mod where this component was used as resource counter :)
I have already changed it to 999 in my current version but I didn't upload it yet.
