This is a great train and a great model BUT the fact that you can't buy it after 2020 is EXTREMELY ANNOYING. I understand that this is true to real life but 4 year in transport fever is barely any time and is in general not particularly useful - unimpressed

something that's been bothering me about the HSTs in game is the cost, more specifically what causes the cost - the accurate but unbalanced capacity. Is there any chance this can be looked into?

@mfurseman hello there! I tried to contact you before even starting the project, I thought you had vanished, if you send me a friend request I would be happy to add you as a contributor. No, I did not, the bogies, wheels, mk3 coach and power car bodies are all your meshes. I made an interior and helped rework the textures. Glad you like it. As for the .max files, they would be no use to me as a remodel is planned, the bodies are full of dented and look off. I had a look at redoing the UV in blender but the dents made it near impossible to get right.

As you're using my models are you happy to add my name to your credits? It's great to see how much work's been done on this since I had a crack at adding an HST to train fever. Did you remake the Mk.III coach from scratch as well? I've got the original .max files if they are of any use to you, perhaps to update the UV map.

@Dark Centurion, I am aware there are issues with the textures not being 100% accurate, Im going to fix these dont worry.

the green is a little light but other than that, a vast improvement!

I have added the GWR HST power cars to either end of a rake of MK2s and lo and behold we have a125mph MK2! Blue and grey HST please (this old git remembers them that way)

@scoot_15231 dont worry, Im going to make a standalone mk3 but only for certain liveries, we dont have a 57 (there is one in the works though but not from me) for the Night Riviera so standalone mk3s in GWR would not be accurate @Northern Fail thanks for the help man!

differences between HST Mark 3s and Regular Mark 3s

HST is formed of Mark 3 stock. The main visual distinction between the two are the trips running lengthways along the roof of Mark 3s - Mark 2s have smooth roofs. I think the Mark 3s are also slightly longer/wider. They have a C3 route clearance (loading gauge, basically) compared to the Mark 2s with C1.

@Quince99 its a combination of the Farmer mod and BLS deco, all placed by hand, I absolutely love the effect.

@poshalex the train becomes available in 2016, try installing the All From 1850 mod if you want it before then, that is the only cause I can think of

This looks awesome but I can't get it to show up in-game. Do you need the original 43 for this one to show? I've re-downloaded a few times and verified game cache but still now joy =(

Brilliant GWR texture - thanks so much for this, so much detail! In the video, there's a shot with the camera position low down and lots of lineside vegetation - cow parsley, grasses etc. - that I never seem to get in my games. Did you have to place all those plants manually or is it a mod?

If you want the bar to look more authentic you need to add a pissed squaddie! Beautiful models. Thanks for sharing.

@Sleeping Lionheart the power in game is not directly scalable to the power in real life due to the game mechanics, will have a look into the backwards driving, it wasnt intended to be reversible but if you are using it with another mod just remove thst mod from your consist.

Really huge imrprovment, only little things I've noticed so far is the power is too high but that might be for balance reasons as most TF mods are overpowered.
The other is backwards driving, because its enabled but the lights don't change so its like its driving in reverse.

@Autocoach, we dont know when the GTi sets will be retired so we are putting 2020 as they are planning to have the majority of their 125s replaced at this point.

Any thoughts on whether the power rating should drop down to 1678kW . I note the availability ends in 2020 but in the real world the GTi short sets will be with GWR for a while yet.
