id like to use this mod to try and prevent ship decay, especially in freeports. I play in singleplayer and I want to be able to build in those areas since theyre so nice. I tried playing in Blackwood since the freeport there works differently but that map has a few bugs that are annoying like the gps being off. What settings would I need to use to prevent ship decay so I can enjoy the singleplayer experience?

this is something common in atlas,no need a mod to crash after u close the SP session...U need to understand they didnt fix any of bugs for SP,they dont care :(.In your crash log file u gona see first line with something arround kernelbase.dll (thats a dll from windows10 who will get error,when u low on video memory amd ram).Mods consume more video and ram memory :)

Should repair your decks,depends what configuration u have for the mod,and depends to the other mods u use..i know for vanilla ships will repair everything u have,anchored or unanchored,depends on settings u have...but idk if the mod will proprely repairs ships from other mods like AS,or heavy ships and so one.

I m sure regeneration ships work well with death recovery,cuz i used them {LINK REMOVED} fact i l write u the list with mods that i m sure this mod was working.

Regeneration ships,death recovery,hitching post,weight reduction 90%..thats all i can remember well..

But i m pretty sure the mod is in conflict with that artilery mod..regeneration ship regain health for everything in your ship,including cannons,ballistas,sails,ceilings and so on.

All good. We had a stint of relief but lag and studder has returned in alternate forms. Not in the same way though. Still hunting a full solution. I only have the ability to test on Blackwood. As far as conflicts we had the artillery mod and ship regen (Both removed) and then the Juke box mod and death recovery mod. Currently Death Recovery is the only active one. May purge it soon to test. Other than that we're keeping it simple. Open to any suggestions and if it seemed like I was hating I apologize. Your mod is fantastic. Thanks for the hard work.

@Jackle80,andargor the mod have no issue,the problem of Jackle is another mod who is in conflict with ship regeneration,prob he use AS or funk,who has own shipyards with own things on ship health and other stats.

@Jackle80 Thanks for the report. That's extremely strange since the mod is completely separate from the ship entities, it just lists them and adds HP. Does this issue only happen on Blackwood or all maps? I unfortunately will not be able to try to fix it for a while.

Awesome mod! Had to remove it this week on our Blackwood server though as the ships were going crazy. Sailing side to side and sail animation all over the board. All issues resolved once we removed mod and validated server files with repair downloads. Readded to confirm and issue continued. Removal removed it. Hope this information helps at all. ;(

It only runs while you are ingame ofcourse, so in sp you might need to find something else to do while your ship repaired or adjust the settings

OMG this is a life saver, i like my ship to be rp as possible which means i have alot of decorative pieces that those crew just wont repair or you can reach without making a false deck (half wall then deck) so you can craw under the deck to reach every piece.

@garyp156 I just close the game,i play non-dedicated with friends and the mod is working. You sure u did exactly what i sayd?
RegenerationInitialDelaySeconds=60.0
RegenerationIntervalSeconds=30.0
RegenerationAmountAnchored=2000.0
RegenerationAmountUnanchored=0.0

Try this settings,and read carefull where u need to put them.In game.ini you should have a space there between lines: http://prntscr.com/qx30pk
In gameusersettings.ini the same,under server settings,make a space after last line: http://prntscr.com/qx315c


Start your server and the mod will work,and remember if you change the grid the mod will stop working(cuz every grid is count as 1 server,and you should restart the game everytime to make the mod work for the new grid)

@andargor your mod is working for singleplayer,i use him and some of my friends use this mode in singleplayer.But if u dont desire i wont tell anyone how to make it to work,its verry simple in fact and no need to modify anything in the source :d

@gpcstargate I wasn't aware it stopped working for the current version, can you confirm? And sorry, I have no intention of making it work for SP, it was designed for our group on a dedicated server. The sources are in the description if you would like to try to make it work for SP.

@鱼棒棒 It needs to be installed on the server you are playing on. I suggest you look up instructions on how to install mods on a server.

@andargor,non-dedicated is like single-player but is online with my friends,i host the server in my PC.
And i can confirm the mod is working fine,of course i change the settings for my taste and needs.

@Vyper When my group gets back to Atlas, I will look at bases. But it would be another mod, and I suspect it would load the server a lot more that this one, so no promises. And I don't think I'll spend effort making my mods work in SP, since myself nor my group ever play SP, sorry. That's why I published the sources, if someone wants to take a crack at it.

@PeterLng That is correct. The submarine is not classified as a proper ship, and must be repaired in the hangar manually.

@c0de I don't know, I never tried because I did this initially for our group's private server. The source is available if someone wants to take a stab at it, and then give me a pull request or publish a variant. I know @WesterosRising integrated it in Total Ships, but I don't know if he changed anything to make it work in SP.

But .. I only play SP and had it loaded on that game _ it seemed to be working then .. unless I'm getting repairs from TS.
I'll have to do some file adjustments .. maybe.

I have noticed that this is not working as it did in my last game ..
Started a New game yesterday ( 8/01 ) with * Newest Update * and ships are not repairing themselves .. I have to go and get material out of inventory ..
You might want to check and see if something got broken .. Thank you .. this in SP and Not Blackwood .. but Vanilla

does this make any changes to the default ships? like if i remove it will it destroy ships that are built after or ships already built before adding the mod?

Yes it would work, both mods are stackable. However Total Ships already performs a simliar function so having 2 mods would in theory repair a ship quicker.
