for example, if in a combat, i could click on my deck button, and there could be a small button (or keyboard shortcut) to let me start typing something, and it filters out cards that dont match (or starts showing cards that match something)
for example, i click on deck list, and see the usual list. I click your new button (or press control+S), and start typing "perf" and it shows me perfected strike as a result.
the same could be useful when clicking on the view discard pile, and view exhaust pile buttons, but mostly for the deck itself, and the draw deck if possible there too?

If you have any insights on changes I should make on my end, please let me know.
If you're not on the beta version, please tell me what other mods you have installed so I can look into potential conflicts.
I take out the sorting, leave the filter option, and rebrand it "Deck Filter" or something. I will have it done as soon as I can! Thank you!
Those of you who read my posts here may note that I've saved this mod from becoming obsolete when it's integrated into the base game, so you'll still have a reason to keep it installed.
That being said: since there is more going on in this mod now, there might be some compatibility issues with other mods. Specifically, if a mod sets custom keybindings, it might prevent you from typing that key while searching. I haven't actually seen this yet in any mod I've used, but it's the only foreseeable problem right now. Please report issues here, or on github, and I'll try to resolve them.
The good news is Mega Crit say they are interested in including this functionality in a future update! Mega Crit and I worked together to polish the user experience, which involved making it controller-navigable and fully translatable. It will have all the features you currently see in this mod, with a sleek redesigned interface.
The bad news is that y'all will have to be patient to see it. They will not publish any updates until the game has been ported to consoles. This is standard practice in software development. Furthermore, I don't intend to back-port the upcoming changes to this Workshop mod. That's because the controller code would be difficult to re-write as a mod pack, and nobody would care: I assume you're all using mice :P
I'm happy that so many of you are enjoying this, and that it got Mega Crit's attention. Thank you all for your interest, and please look forward to its eventual inclusion in the main game!
I reached out to Mega Crit on Twitter, and they told me to ask you to DM them about potentially incorporating it into the main branch, or else putting it on a list of "approved mods" that don't break achievement/leaderboard capabilities!
Here's hoping it works out.
Until now.
One request: I actually use the default view sometimes, like after getting Astrolabe, so that I can most easily tell which cards were added to the deck (because they get put at the end in the default view). Is it possible that view could be added as a category, if it isn't already?
It would be amazing to have more options to categorize like the card types you mentioned!
i searched a while for that and all i read was "you dont need this" like wtf? sorry that i like to sort my deck for checking duplicates.
big thumps up!!
