here is a picture example of a cool card to play, but when playing with large mods for fun, and larger deck sizes, it can take me a long time to scroll around trying to find my PinaGoLada :)

hi is any way that this mod could allow some searching during the game itself? :)

for example, if in a combat, i could click on my deck button, and there could be a small button (or keyboard shortcut) to let me start typing something, and it filters out cards that dont match (or starts showing cards that match something)

for example, i click on deck list, and see the usual list. I click your new button (or press control+S), and start typing "perf" and it shows me perfected strike as a result.

the same could be useful when clicking on the view discard pile, and view exhaust pile buttons, but mostly for the deck itself, and the draw deck if possible there too?

The compatibility error with Spire Arcade has been fixed!
BNA 25 Jan, 2021 @ 3:27pm
Is there any way you could make this work on the compendium card library screen?

Hey, cool mod, just wanted to let you know this mod makes most of the minigames from Spire Arcade not respond to mouse or key inputs.
This is its Github repo:
https://github.com/erasels/MinigamesTheSpire

If you have any insights on changes I should make on my end, please let me know.
SolarNougat 20 Jan, 2021 @ 4:51am
This mod is incompatible with Spire Arcade. It makes most minigames featured in that mod unplayable, since the minigames won't respond to inputs.

Now good to go with update 2.2!
Dooge  [author] 8 Dec, 2020 @ 12:42pm
Thanks for informing me about the breaking update! I'm happy that you found this patch helpful. Given the decreasing frequency of game updates in the almost 2 years since I first published this, maintaining it has become a low priority for me, so I rely on fans like you to report bugs. Please be patient and I will have an update ready in a few days!
Chucklemaster 8 Dec, 2020 @ 11:40am
I think the most recent patch may have broken this (incredible) mod
Dooge  [author] 9 Dec, 2019 @ 12:05pm
Don't mind me, just rebranding this mod before the new update drops
Dooge  [author] 15 Oct, 2019 @ 3:45pm
@RightAngle90 Are you on the beta branch? This worked on the beta branch a few weeks ago, but now it doesn't. I tested that it still works on the release version. Looks like I have some work to do soon.
If you're not on the beta version, please tell me what other mods you have installed so I can look into potential conflicts.
Kulios 8 Oct, 2019 @ 4:00am
Don't know if it's just me but Mod the spire won't load when the this is installed.
Dooge  [author] 25 Sep, 2019 @ 3:18pm
I fixed the compatibility issue! To my surprise, it was related to a bug in ModTheSpire, not a change to the base game. Everything is fine now, please re-enable this item the next time you play!
Dooge  [author] 22 Sep, 2019 @ 9:47pm
Hi everyone, sorry about the crashing, I've been too busy to work it out. I'll see if I can make it compatible with the latest game update by the end of the week. Thanks for your patience. Also thanks for the heads up about another mod with the same name.
Randonx 16 Sep, 2019 @ 6:12pm
Can Confirm, this mod breaks game.
Clef the Mouse 14 Sep, 2019 @ 3:57am
Adding on to mention that this mod won't load on the base game anymore.
MatthewTh0 12 Sep, 2019 @ 3:06pm
Yeah, this mod is broken somehow now. There's also another mod called card filter now, by the way, so might want to change the name of the mod or ask the other person to.
キャンディーアップル 10 Sep, 2019 @ 2:38pm
This mod won't load since today. Was working fine yesterday tho...
Dooge  [author] 5 Jul, 2019 @ 10:44pm
Thank you for bringing the recent update to my attention. I didn't know when it was launching. I worked with Mega Crit to bring sorting into the base game! Meaning this mod is mostly obsolete.
I take out the sorting, leave the filter option, and rebrand it "Deck Filter" or something. I will have it done as soon as I can! Thank you!
USER000 3 Jul, 2019 @ 4:51pm
can't load on 1.1 dude :steamsad:
Boulder 3 Jul, 2019 @ 10:00am
Can confirm that this mod does not work on 1.1. Causes an error while the game attempts to launch
Lery 1 Jul, 2019 @ 10:10pm
Not working on 1.1.
SquarelyCircle 5 Jun, 2019 @ 5:22am
Is this mod controller friendly?
Dooge  [author] 27 May, 2019 @ 12:32am
NEW UPDATE! FILTER MODE. It's pretty self explanatory, but knowing exactly how it works will make you more powerful. It searches for a word in the card title, the card description, and the card's keyword explanations. This is a huge boost for when you are running custom characters with confusing keywords. It also helps you find synergies faster.

Those of you who read my posts here may note that I've saved this mod from becoming obsolete when it's integrated into the base game, so you'll still have a reason to keep it installed.
That being said: since there is more going on in this mod now, there might be some compatibility issues with other mods. Specifically, if a mod sets custom keybindings, it might prevent you from typing that key while searching. I haven't actually seen this yet in any mod I've used, but it's the only foreseeable problem right now. Please report issues here, or on github, and I'll try to resolve them.

[HUMBLEBRAG ALERT] I can't believe I accidentally sort of made this happen
Dooge  [author] 8 May, 2019 @ 8:06pm
STATUS UPDATE: I have good news and bad news.
The good news is Mega Crit say they are interested in including this functionality in a future update! Mega Crit and I worked together to polish the user experience, which involved making it controller-navigable and fully translatable. It will have all the features you currently see in this mod, with a sleek redesigned interface.
The bad news is that y'all will have to be patient to see it. They will not publish any updates until the game has been ported to consoles. This is standard practice in software development. Furthermore, I don't intend to back-port the upcoming changes to this Workshop mod. That's because the controller code would be difficult to re-write as a mod pack, and nobody would care: I assume you're all using mice :P
I'm happy that so many of you are enjoying this, and that it got Mega Crit's attention. Thank you all for your interest, and please look forward to its eventual inclusion in the main game!

*Message them ON DISCORD, is what they specifically requested.
Lower Vienna's Mightiest Ostrich 30 Mar, 2019 @ 2:30pm
Hey Dooge, this mod is a revelation. It's amazing how much better the game feels with this functionality.
I reached out to Mega Crit on Twitter, and they told me to ask you to DM them about potentially incorporating it into the main branch, or else putting it on a list of "approved mods" that don't break achievement/leaderboard capabilities!
Here's hoping it works out.
Crazy_Cat_Gentleman 21 Mar, 2019 @ 4:45am
I have in 170 hours of gameplay not once seriously considered modding the game.

Until now.
Side_Effect 18 Mar, 2019 @ 4:05pm
Author, thanks, the effort is appreciated :)
jacobpaige 18 Mar, 2019 @ 4:03pm
Thanks :)
Dooge  [author] 18 Mar, 2019 @ 3:52pm
Wish granted. You'll also appreciate being able to use reverse chronological order (right click), since everyone already knows they have strikes and blocks to start. Thank you all for your suggestions and support!
jacobpaige 18 Mar, 2019 @ 11:02am
Would it be possible to get the game's default chronological sort as an option? Yours are great for finding duplicates and whatnot, but if I just want to find a strike to remove or remind myself what the last card I picked up was, then chronological is much more useful.
Clef the Mouse 17 Mar, 2019 @ 8:06pm
Awesome mod, I love it.

One request: I actually use the default view sometimes, like after getting Astrolabe, so that I can most easily tell which cards were added to the deck (because they get put at the end in the default view). Is it possible that view could be added as a category, if it isn't already?
Dooge  [author] 17 Mar, 2019 @ 4:36pm
Great idea! I've collected that and some other ideas and released a v1.1 update just now. I am continuing to honor requests that reverse order be available: you can now access it by right-clicking on the button.
Danwo0 17 Mar, 2019 @ 11:25am
Is it possible to show which sort mode you are in? Than would be helpful I think.
Danwo0 17 Mar, 2019 @ 11:21am
Thank you! I wanted this so bad.
It would be amazing to have more options to categorize like the card types you mentioned!
Dooge  [author] 13 Mar, 2019 @ 7:24pm
Thank you for your comments! I've made an update so you're able to switch orders instantly by clicking a button on the deck screen.
EngiSloth 13 Mar, 2019 @ 1:26pm
THANK YOU!!!!
i searched a while for that and all i read was "you dont need this" like wtf? sorry that i like to sort my deck for checking duplicates.

big thumps up!!
Tai Gambol 13 Mar, 2019 @ 12:54am
Category then name would probably be better, or at least equally as good and should be available as an option
Toon Maniac 12 Mar, 2019 @ 9:23pm
I like it. You're right that it should have been in the base game, but I think it would be much better if it had reverse alphabetical order instead.
Dooge  [author] 12 Mar, 2019 @ 8:56pm
Would this be better if it sorted by category first and then by name? Meaning attacks are sorted alphabetically, followed by powers (sorted), skills (sorted). Tell me your thoughts here and I can try to make them a reality
