spear wall and spear castle really doesnt look like it fits in at all. It loses the cool look to it. cuz well regular sword and axe inf. just looks so much better in both shield wall and shield castle. just my opinion.

Would you consider creating an extension of this for the Swiss and Augire Units project? It is Vanilla compatible so it probably wouldn't need a full version. If not, I can take a crack at it.

Great mod, but the refill ammo ability needs to be removed in my opinion. They always use it when not needed, no matter what. Thanks

Hey man im such a huge fan of this mod i literally cant play the game without it. But I also love the mod conquest 1066! however, when i play with that mod, the new units it adds dont have any of the formation options of this mod :(((((

do you think you could make it compatible, or make a compatible mod? it's only like 2 new units per kingdom (I think). that would make my year

@Rök'n'Stön im glad you like it, and honestly i just enabled loose spacing and prayed they used it correctly, which they do :D as for animation and sounds i'm not sure how to change them yet and ive not come across that issue before.

@Manikin I havent got around to it, though i may be able to adapt this mod for it in future.

Love all the amazing abailities th8is mod brings, actually makes the tactics realistic and usefull. HOWEVER; it would be more useable if the vanilla sizes and prices and roster systems were noit enforced. So that way iu could use it alojng side shield wall for example.

As it is when loaded up alongside shield wall it kills the economy system and unit sizes by foc8ing what i guess are vanilla values onto them.

@Acalian Thank you very much for the reply. I'm pleased that the AI use loose formation on their archers properly, which is cool. How did you get them to do that? Loose formation was in SHogun 2 yet the AI never used it, yet you add it to archers in a mod in this game and the AI uses it. I'm pleased!

However, I noticed a couple issues with the mod though. My spearmen keep starting in spear wall all the time. Any way to get them to not default to that? Also, some of my units keep doing the "HEUGH" shout that they do when you give them commands, even if they've been given one command (move or stand here), whether they are walking or standing still. It sounds as if i'm spam right clicking on a spot for them to move to, with them all chanting the "affirmative" chant every few seconds. Ever come across this issue before?

@Rök'n'Stön they do, however sometimes they will be stupid and use them when it is detrimental to them.

for example, every now and then, they will use refil ammo if they have none and are trying to run away from battle.

however, most of the abilities are used properly

@Acalian Tried yesterday night in coop with a friend, we can use your mod without any issues but sadly we cant use stuff like aguirre and swiss unit mods / Immersive armies and shield mods with it. Like i said to swiss halberdier on his mod page, it would be really nice if you could find a way to combine this awesome formation mod with the new units they added to the game with theirs. That would bring an epic TOB gaming experience to all. I would gladly help if i had the skills or if someone could teach me )

@Acalian alright i tried and can tell you this, i tried only in solo mode will try in coop later on today, it seems like both run together but the units given by Unique Units Expansion mod are not affected by your tweaks, wich obviously was most likely. Im taling to people from shieldwall mod and maybe you would be interested to check for their work if its not done already idk

I have been noticing units ignoring certain commands and the pathfinding becomes messed up etc for example

It also can cause very strange unit behaviour when used with radious as well.

@Acalian, yes, the only problem its not compatible with radious, its make the game crash when launch. Your other mod, cancels the stats of the radious like melee defence, hit points, etc..

taking a moment to say thanks for including a version with no changes to unit sizes. I've always played with Ultra unit size, so having any other size just puts me off. This adds much needed variety to the units, and there's also a decently large vanilla unit pack mod I also use, and it also changes their skills to the relevant ones, as well, so that's a nice bonus. We desperately needed more skills and fewer units sharing the same skill pool.

We would all love to be able to use the abilities with the Radious units as well, but i would use this mod even if only the vanilla units were affected by it. To answer the question, yes, i believe that is, so far, the only problem i have experienced.
EDIT: Do not quote me on this, but i also think the unit stat tabs are affected. While using this mod, i could not see the more detailed stats Radious provides for their units.

Yeah, they do get the abilities (the vanilla units), but their upkeep is also changed, making it not compatible unfortunately. Great mod otherwise :) but the limited roster ToB presents is just too boring after experiencing Radious.
