@ lilbutterfairy: if you know a capable modder willing to do the porting anyhow, tell them to hit me up :-)
s7o  [author] 4 Jul, 2018 @ 1:50pm
@ lilbutterflyfairy: sry can't, you can't use se creation kit without owning the game, and i most definitely won't buy the same game twice just so i can create the same content twice :-)

Is there any chance you will port this to SE? This is my favorite mod from the workshop and one of the reasons I won't switch and play my SE copy lol.
mannd1068 4 Mar, 2018 @ 1:19pm
no problem, just a hope!
s7o  [author] 3 Mar, 2018 @ 8:04pm
@ mannd1068: raven rock's dlc, right? don't have any for skyrim, sry
mannd1068 17 Feb, 2018 @ 11:13am
Does Raven Rock have a suite? That would be awesome!
Kad 25 Nov, 2017 @ 9:41pm
How Neat.. So glad you 'transfered it', especially for that extra long haul back to the rooms just for the recoup!
MissMadeline 21 Nov, 2017 @ 7:53am
@s7o The player home in Solitude has never been a favorite of mine so finding another housing option there was welcome. Especially one so well done.
s7o  [author] 20 Nov, 2017 @ 5:08pm
@ itsasnit: glad you like it :-), this one was made on request for ladysedim (hadn't planned on adding suites to towns that offer player homes anyway originally)
s7o  [author] 20 Nov, 2017 @ 5:06pm
@ lianas world: the healing bathtubs are kind of a reminiscence to my fo-nv mod "vegas, baby...", which gave you a tub like that for "light" cases, and Mr. Healthy, a medic robot, for the heavy stuff (that, and likely the only decent suit in all of the postnuclear mojave).
couldn't really add the robot with the skyrim version though :-)

@ lupa ursa: thx, hope you tried & liked the suites :-)

for the rent thing: i tried on a monthly base in very early versions, but a game month can pass real quick, so if you got more than 1 suite, you'll easily have to pay rent every single time you turn up there, turning this into just a nag.
but: rents are really low, and you just pay a year _in_advance_ anyway, meaning you can cancel your suite at any time and will get the according amount of gold refunded (calculated every time you come back, so technically, rent is pretty much on a "whenever" base anyway :-)
MissMadeline 1 Nov, 2017 @ 9:15pm
I think my favorite suite so far is the Winking Skeever. Thanks for this mod.
Kad 7 Jul, 2017 @ 6:45pm
love the idea, especially since riding around I forget to watch the days and it is nice to know it is 'mine' to go back too even if it's been a few months. Curious to know what mod you are including with the bath tubs, full healing etc. Many Thanks
Mystic Dark Moon 18 Jun, 2017 @ 6:48pm
I've JUST found this mod and I haven't even played on it yet but I just LOVE the concept of this!! Realastically, you WOULD be able to rent a room at an inn long term and some of the more "well off" inns would likely have a suite of rooms anyway! The only negative I have about this, and really, it's a VERY minor negative, is that it should ideally be rented more on a monthly, or maybe even weekly or "fortnight", basis instead of a year. Other than that, AWESOME mod!

@ lilbutterflyfairy: cliffside retreat. talk to the hunter. :-)
TattooedFairyxx 24 Nov, 2016 @ 9:46pm
I have all the suits except your mystery location...where is it lol. It is driving me batty because I can't find it lol. :steamfacepalm:
s7o  [author] 29 Sep, 2016 @ 3:10pm
@ lilbutterflyfairy: glad to hear so. especially because i'm pretty exclusively into fallout currently, moddingwise :-)
TattooedFairyxx 12 Aug, 2016 @ 3:01pm
It is working great now lol. I LOVE the rooms. Georgeous mod.
s7o  [author] 23 Jul, 2016 @ 3:46pm
@ lilbutterflyfairy: thx for letting me know :-)
(i was pretty sure it'd be nothing in this mod anyway though)
TattooedFairyxx 22 Jul, 2016 @ 6:26pm
Most of my mods are from nexus, only 42 or so are from here :)
TattooedFairyxx 22 Jul, 2016 @ 6:25pm
I did a full wipe of steam and all related files, uninstalled or unsubscribed and then reinstalled game with no mods and started over. Just so I knew it was a fresh vanilla game again.
TattooedFairyxx 22 Jul, 2016 @ 6:23pm
I can't PM you lol and don't want to say which it was in a public forum :)
TattooedFairyxx 22 Jul, 2016 @ 6:20pm
I found the culprit. It was one I had been debating on removing for a while, it was just a fun naughty adult oriented one but not an important one so it is gone. If there is another I will let you know.
s7o  [author] 22 Jul, 2016 @ 6:07pm
@ lilbutterflyfairy: just did a quick tes5edit check, all ownerships in whiterun suite are perfectly as they should be

to check for mod compatibility, add the mods one by one on a fresh game with none installed. removing mods and then trying the same save won't help in most cases, certain stuff from removed mods will remain in your save forever after, as well as changes they made at runtime.

you could also check out tes5edit, once you know how to use it, it'll give you the quickest possible overview
TattooedFairyxx 22 Jul, 2016 @ 4:46pm
>.< so fun lol
TattooedFairyxx 22 Jul, 2016 @ 4:45pm
So far it isn't Authentic Whiterun causing the disruption. I have soooo many mods but that was the only one in Whiterun itself besides this mod, no other mods to anything else in whiterun itself. I once had a mod that disrupted Riverwood by duplicating NPC's and was nowhere near Riverwood lol. If I figure it out; which I will because now it is one by one, play the game see what f's up etc >.<; I will certainly let you know.
TattooedFairyxx 22 Jul, 2016 @ 3:48pm
Only have the Authentic Whiterun mod going on there. It is way too nice a mod to give up over this one place not working. I will let you know it it does in fact clash with it.
s7o  [author] 22 Jul, 2016 @ 3:42pm
@ lilbutterflyfairy: i have no idea, i don't know every mod that's out there :-)
basically anyway, the more mods you have doing stuff in the same place,
the worse your odds in matters of compatibility.
most objects in game can be altered by only _one_ mod at a time (with exceptions)
and that'll always be the latest one in your load order to try.
TattooedFairyxx 22 Jul, 2016 @ 3:29pm
Is it compatible with Ultimate Followers and My home is your home where you can rent rooms for your followers?
s7o  [author] 22 Jul, 2016 @ 3:07pm
@ lilbutterflyfairy: pretty sure you got a classic mod conflict here:
the only way to get the "owned bed" message is that that particular bed has a specific owner,
and the _only_ owner i set at any point in this mod is the player -
if this failed, you'd not get "well rested", but no "owned" message.

to make sure, try on a save that doesn't have that other mod in it and without that loaded,
i'm quite confident you won't get that issue then.
let me know what that brings forth, if the issue still persists, i'll check if i can find anything

(edit: if it's a mod conflict and you're lucky, putting this mod after the other one in your load order might fix it, but depends on the type of conflict, so no guarantees)
TattooedFairyxx 22 Jul, 2016 @ 12:51pm
I took a screenshot but unsure how to add it here.
TattooedFairyxx 22 Jul, 2016 @ 12:47pm
In the right room, I followed him to it, and it is a very nice one. Some other NPC is sleeping in it when I go into it at night. I uninstalled and reinstalled it to no avail. I am using the Mod Authentic Whiterun by Laast from nexus. But it doesn't change where NPC's live or sleep. It seems like Ahlam has moved herself into my suite and her hubby Amren is hanging out downstairs instead of their house.
s7o  [author] 22 Jul, 2016 @ 10:58am
@ lilbutterflyfairy: you sure you're in the right room?
if it's the one with the double bed, you're not :-)
TattooedFairyxx 22 Jul, 2016 @ 8:11am
I am having an issue with the suite in Whiterun's Drunken Hunstman. I paid for the room but it will not let me sleep in the bed, says it is owned.
s7o  [author] 26 May, 2016 @ 1:15pm
thx, glad you like them :-)

Suites Of Skyrim II :
3 NEW SUITES AVAILABLE
s7o  [author] 25 May, 2016 @ 6:10pm
...and finally, here's the requested suites in Solitude's Winking Skeever Inn and Whiterun's Drunken Huntsman, that have been requested a couple ages ago by folks who'll hardly be still playing skyrim...
...to make up for the delay anyway, i added a little hidden bonus suite for you to find, too, enjoy... :-)
s7o  [author] 23 Apr, 2016 @ 5:38am
s7o  [author] 1 Nov, 2015 @ 9:59pm
@ ladyseion: originally, the suites were planned to add player homes for towns where you can't get a vanilla one anyway, so neither riften nor markarth were on my list - i only did the suites in whiterun and solitude because they were requested.
but since fo4 is in due and i got plenty wip's to finish and updates to do to my skyrim stuff before fo4 geck is out and i'll be moving on, i'm not taking in any more requests, so sry, but you're out of luck i fear. a little suite somewhere near boston maybe...? :-)
(and who knows, there _might_ be a little stg at least near markarth for you in the update :-)

and about the "real" taverns, i guess they'd not have just one room to rent out, riften is more like it. or, for the farmhouse type, with an upstairs like we see in the destroyed inn in helgen maybe.
LadySeion 1 Nov, 2015 @ 8:33pm
Yay! I can't wait for the new suites! You've done a great job! I will never play skyrim without this mod again. Will there be a Riften or Markarth suite in the future? Thank you for making this much needed mod!
I always thought the inn's were very run down. Even in a time period like Skyrim it was quite the hole in the wall or raided by bandits regularly to be as spartain and poor as the majority of the inns of Skyrim are. Because back in those time periods Taverns were in the heart of the town square and or by a major entrance / exit because they were essential to living. They were your stop for news from other towns even lands. For any and every traveler and wanderer. Needless to say Taverns were more essential to everyday life than most people give them credit for especially skyrim. This mod changes that by adding the suites. It makes the taverns seem more like an actual tavern.
s7o  [author] 31 Oct, 2015 @ 1:37pm
@ ladyseion: good news for you :-), 2 new suites (solitude and whiterun, both requested long times ago) are just getting their final brushes, out very soon :-)
LadySeion 30 Oct, 2015 @ 11:27pm
I really like this mod! I wish you'd add a suite in every town!
s7o  [author] 25 Aug, 2015 @ 7:41pm

@ ladysedim: yeah, these... thx, much appreciated :-)
Allie 7 Aug, 2015 @ 7:22pm
The joys of RL. Ugh. My sympathies, amigo.
s7o  [author] 6 Aug, 2015 @ 2:38pm
@ ladysedim: oh hey, i had a survey, thx for reminding :-)
hm yeah i guess this'll have to go to update list...
(way behind my schedule with that, real life eating up modding time...)
Allie 3 Aug, 2015 @ 4:01pm
sorry for the late reply I havent looked on here in months. Ive never been asked to pay rent again in a room but then again I wipe out my game fairly often, tooo
