Fixed the cost (yes it did take me 3 years).
Can't find my meshes for the asset at the moment so I'll see about doing an onshore version but it might take some time.

Please make an Onshore for this - really like this btw

If you remove the foundation post in the Asset Editor, the in game build cost will match the menu entry. He adds the post as a sub-building. Since I do not have the files, I can not tell for shure, but the game is most likely adding the cost for the sub-building to the 15k set for the turbine itself. In this case you would have to edit the sub-building properties to fix this.

In the menu it says that the wind turbine costs $15,000, but when i goto place it on water it costs $27,000? What gives?

HeyItsMeAdam enercon e40 sounds like a great idea! It is also a kinda small turbine.
Dell Conagher 22 Feb, 2020 @ 12:54pm
@Piggy Rover - That'd be nice, however he's currently running a full-time job so he has very little free time, so don't expect a Micon any time soon. I would personally fancy an Enercon E-40 with 3-4MW in-game output myself.

Add some small kw turbines such as the neg micon https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXvI15Wfy-E

Can I use this with offshore substation from others?
Amayasnep 13 Oct, 2019 @ 5:59pm
After doing a little research I learned the turbine itself is a "next generation" direct-drive wind turbine. The monopile foundation is for shallow water (<30m deep) and the lattice foundation is for transitional water (<60m deep). Really cool stuff!

Vestas V164? Nah, I'd go perhaps with a Siemens Gamesa, probably a 6.0-154

If he's taking time off, then don't pressure. Remember, @Jorfik - always take your time. Don't pressure yourself to some insane mod release schedule.

I hope jorfik will continue his work whith these quality assets

That's cool Jorfik, keep up the great work.

@Flavius Aetius

I could consider it but I've another project I want to finish first and I've exams and things coming up, so it would be...a while if it happened. Don't think I could match the detail in the Doel mod, would take more time than I want to spend :o
Dell Conagher 13 Apr, 2019 @ 9:15am
Keep up those quality projects!
Timmeyi 11 Apr, 2019 @ 10:22am
goodjob :highrise:
Eudoxia 10 Apr, 2019 @ 6:19pm
Sweet!

I wish someone would make a new Nuclear plant to replace the Doel mod. Would love to see a Small Modular Reactor like NuScale, or even just some US based reactors like Catawba, or the new Vogtle 3&4.
