I don't know where you get that nothing needs to be updated. Just look at the comments there are people saying that it doesnt even work on 66 tickrate which is what a lot of servers run on now. Unless i'm playing offline its useless to me.

No offense, but how dumb can you be to expect an update on an addon that was last updated nearly 5 years ago. Also, it still works so there is nothing to update. You're just doing something wrong

2 years later and this is still awful. You can shoot the gun and you can jump a little bit higher but its impossible to even get to anything higher than your head

Great addon! I was wondering if there was a way you could make it so that there was a "pull" method that brought small items towards you? Maybe set it to right-click instead of having that as the zoom option?

Same for me when I set my tickrate down to 33 from 66 It stopped working

I've also been having the same problem Bot John, it will not repeal due to gravity. I hanged the speed to ridiculous high speeds after testing and still doesn't work. My tickrate of the server is 11. but when I put it back to 66 the grappling hook worked just fine. Any idea?

I remember having this addon then it just disappeared. I checked in my addons so many times but it wasn't there... But I'm happy I've found it again because when I mixed this with slo-motion and 3rd person, it felt epic just jumping off a building and grappling across

problem is the rope speed need to be configure to each server. One more thing. Rappel cannot be seen by others players only urs is visible.

I really liked this at first. Then it just became a glitchy problem as it caused script errors and if you die while useing it the rope stays on you when you respawn even if you hit cleanup all.

Can someone make a replica of the TF2 Grappling hook? I really like the look of that hook, and the sound it makes. Preferably make the rope blue, or even better, configurable.

To use this grappling hook, HOLD the fire key down after shooting it, do not just click it like any other weapon. WASD adjust your swing.

I'm suspecting this addon might be making me invincible forever, even after unsubscribbing or disabling it. I'm reinstalling everything from scratch to test this.
