Just a suggestion... could you make a "Kaityo's Small Planet Buildings" version? LOL... I usually select buildings by their icons and so while I appreciate the amount of space this gives back, you have a lot of vertical space to allow slightly bigger icons. Maybe about 33% bigger?

This mod only changes the UI and should be safe to remove.

Is this mod safe to remove mid-playthrough?

I'm getting a consisten crash with this as the last error.log entry:
[14:35:33][containerwindow.cpp:814]: interface/zzkaityo_planet_building_view.gui: Could not find instantTextboxType "building_effects" in window "planet_construction_entry".

When you run the game in 4K and scale the UI to 150% and use the UI Overhaul, the tiny buildings only use half of the window width and some of the values are over the building names. Would be nice if you could take a look at that and make it fit to the wider window. Thanks.
