I too have the bug where the gold armor and sword increases my movement speed. Has anyone figured out how to fix this?

Thats really strange, because it works completely fine for me in RoG and SW. Try to resubscribe to mods, reinstall the game - something is definitely wrong with you game.

I understand but for some reason the Additional Equipment mod doesn't work for me, its got question marks on the regular DS and the ROG compatibility bars and has a flat X on the SW compatibility bar. I'll ask the mod author of that one to see about what's going on. (im serious i can turn off all other mods and try to run the game with just that one and the game will crash)

Glad you like it, but currently I don't plan adding anything else, mostly because all of those things are already available via other mods like Additional Eqiupment which has Marble helmet. Maybe if Klei desided to add something more to DS or port some content from DST, then maybe I'll be adding some more stuff, but for now I don't really see much sense in doing it.

I'm being 100% serious when I say this, the only things that could make this mod better, is 2 things, 1) Marble Helmet (about half protection of marble armor, 5% less movement speed) and 2) Fire Sword (you've already got an ice sword, with similar effects of the ice staff so why not [the differences being damage vs. pulling enemies out of combat for a short time]) All in all a perfect mod, but I can see some future updates for this that aren't too insane, but still very useful mod, indeed. :steamhappy:

Why should it? Its completely separate entities. Marble beans mod has a bug or something that prevents it from showing the recipe in Shipwrecked or in RoG worlds, that are set to be compatible with SW, if you're talking about that.

I didn't balance it around a specific character. Also it does not melt in winter, freezes enemies and can be easily repaired with some ice - its too powerful to not have any strong drawbacks, sorry.

Ice sword should not add wetness, just cools carachters faster, the wetness is too bad because of the WX-78 Carachter... (sorry my english)

Every weapon does as much damage as you want now :) Just go through settings and change it to your liking. I believe thulecite club does 59 or so damage and Mace does 51 on default. Same as Tentacle Spike.

Fix went up - Strongsword now should appear properly in the recipe list if its enabled.
Ice Blade and Strongsword moved to Magic Tab.

Will look into the strongsword problem. Items are in fighting tab because they are weapons and armor. Strongsword and Ice Blade are supposed to be in magic tab though. Will move them, thanks for the feedback.

Hey great mod! I've been playing around with it for a bit and i've found a few anomalies. Seems the strong sword is missing entirely, i've tried on a shipwrecked only world, Rog only world and a dual world. The reciepe is not under the fighting tab or the magic tab. Also im unsure if this was intended or not but all the weapons recipes are in the fighting tab, although they still require the machine stated to craft. Example, The ice sword is still only craftable at a shadow manipulator but the recipe is under the fighting tab instead of the magic tab.

So here goes nothing... One day later than promised SW compatible version of MFP arrives. I polished the code somewhat and added long list of settings, allowing to change different stats of mod's items, amount of ingredients in recipes etc. Since I suck at balancing hope that helps.

There may be (most likely even) some bugs, so report if you see one - I'll squash it ASAP. And if you want some more settings or more items - feel free to write here too - now that I have a little more time on my hands, I'll consider any good ideas.

I kind of started rebalancing it and was halfway done, when Shipwrecked came out. With SW expansion out MFP's balancing must be done from scratch , I'm afraid :( I'll probably just make it adjustable settings, like most popular mods now, so each person can have his\her own balance, because I apparently suck at balancing things. I am not really sure when it will be implemented though.

to [Swat__Raptor] After playing my own mod for somewhat long time I do think its still not that balanced. Yeah, compared to some ridiculously OP mods its somewhat tolerable, but I want to further balance it, so MFP will integrate nicely with Additional Equipment mod. I'll be toning down dmg for some weapons, while greatly increasing their durability and somewhat simplifying their recipes. For example gold sword won't cost a red gem anymore (maybe some more gold instead), damage will be a tiny little bit more than tentacle spike and it will have x2-2.5 uses. -dmg +durability mostly. Armor and helm will be somewhat less effective, but more durable too.

After balancing I'll maybe add something new. And after that I'll be playing DST and checking out its weapon\armor changes. So taht won't be anywhere in the near future unfortunately.
