I hardly even consider this a bug, frankly, but I was doing an endless run, saw the card (with the Prismatic Shard), and immediately went, "huh, I wonder what would happen if I tried that?" I was playing a different character and picked up the Nob power card to try it out, and I think the singular most appropriate thing happened: the game crashed with the following exception:

java.lang.ClassCastException: com.megacrit.cardcrawl.characters.Defect cannot be cast to gremlinmod.characters.GremlinCharacter
(GremlinNobPower.java, method onInitialApplication, line 34)

I was extremely amused by that because it's just so logical : The Defect can't use the Gremlin Nob power because it's not a gremlin .

Great mod, liked and favorited; 10/10 would crash again.

Oh man Gremlin mod is still able to be used? Thank you so much. Gonna launch it up right now since StS is about the only game I can play after losing my glasses until the new ones arrive.

Second bug: At the campfire the gremlins are overly large and misplaced, showing mostly off-screen (playing with 1600x900 resolution).

Thanks. First bug right out of the gate: Neow starting reward states +2 HP will be gained (the standard +10%), but only +1 HP is actually granted.

Lizard Tail and other effects, as I imagine other mods would interact with it, only trigger on the last gremlin. Under the hood, a gremlin dying is more like losing an orb than an actual death. I understand why you would expect it to work but, unfortunately, I cannot ensure my mod works with other mods in the best ways.

I ran into a bug(?) where an effect that was supposed to revive+heal my character if they die didn't do anything when a gremlin with it died. Specifically it was the Awakened One boss card from downfall that revives you with 20 HP, but I assume this also applies to lizard tail and other relics. Are those only supposed to trigger if the LAST gremlin dies?

The initial relic "Gremlin Knob" will also be triggered the same as "Gremlin Horn" of the original game, is this a bug or some what?

having a weird bug where enemies hp bars stay yellow and never have a number. only one of my gremlins spawns, with 4 things that look like empty orb slots behind. Which gremlin it is changes. This persists even if I start a new climb.

Been playing this one for a while now, and outside of the Nob card, this is surprisingly well balanced (I just don't take the Nob card - it's too strong - and I don't have any balance issues).

Once you understand the synergies, these guys feel somewhat stronger than the original characters, but it's perfectly balanced out by their small HP pools... they get obliterated if you can't get your defenses going when you critically need to.

Very well done mod, and very fun. Great job on this.

I really enjoy this character idea and concept, but I have one issue with it. It'd be really nice if the Gremlins respawned after a boss. Every other character heals after beating a boss, but these guys are so gimped if you took damage on the first floor.

This "character" is really neat! The gremlins' abilities and the card effects all feel sufficiently "small" and "scrappy" while adding up to big pain, and the rotating mechanic is fun.

I did encounter a bug where two of my gremlins vanished without explanation in the middle of a boss fight. It was a custom boss (the weird rune/shape boss from Conspire). I replayed the fight and they vanished on the same point a second time, I think the boss did a buff/debuff that turn. They stayed dead until I resurrected them but the score screen said I beat that boss without taking any damage.

Small heads up, if you play tag team with velvet choker and hit the 6 cards limit, the game will softlock,not allowing you to switch gremlins.

I thought this was just going to be a silly mod to just mess around with... was not expecting to actually win the game for the first time ever with these little guys on my first time trying them out. Can honestly say these little guys shocked me in the best way possible. :steamhappy:

first run heart breaker, it's hard ,but really fun, I recomend to play with the vex mod as some relics are a must for the heart, may I sugest to change necromancy?if the mage dies it's hardly usable, and with 1 less character you'll godown fast

Can you add a choice to replace the starting relic with one that doesn't switch? I really want to test out cool synergies, but the gremlins switching every time I kill an enemy makes it hard to keep doing it

In my case,i skipped the first choice card of gremlin(when he demands me to pay) and then i left the game so i could retry this choice again.After that the game bricked and i could not do anything even when selecting new character.

The game bricking is a serious concern, but I have been unable to reproduce the issue. Jitman, Gameking5000, could either of you list which mods you are using? I suspect it may be a strange interaction issue. Unless I can reliably produce the bug on my own, I will be unable to fix it.

Just a heads up,if you leave the game during the big gremlin fight your game will "brick". During enemy encounters you wont be able to draw and play cards,can't even pass.

@Toon Maniac Nope. Nothing wrong with dumping a few if you need to. Once you get up to the higher Ascension levels I get the feeling that there's no choice BUT to make sacrifices of certain gremlins, especially on bosses.

My favorite builds are just focusing on Fat Gremlin, with or without getting the Knob. So many ways to pull it off. Tons of Heckles and Salt Wounds or Duplication are just hilarious to pull off.

ran into a weird issue when i loaded a save in a gremlin knob encounter. none of my followers spawned and I couldn't end my turn. this issue persisted on concecutive runs until I shut down the client.

Finished my first play through with the gremlins and made it all the way through, took a few fights to figure everything out, but all in all well thought out and well done

The swap build and frenzy build are very very strong, so is the weak gremlin build-around deck, the people that are saying the class is weak don't know how to play the class, very understandable as it is very unique

Edward Norton, do you happen to have a crash log? Were you using content mods like Replay the Spire/Hubris etc? If so, what relics did you have?

Alchyr, I am not certain that I want to go as far as splitting ALL non combat damage between Gremlins. If the current measure is not effective, I might do so.

Mind4u2cn, there actually is a 'revenge' mechanic as you describe, but it is on a boss relic, not a card. If you play with content mods, you are less likely to see it.

This is a great design and I really appreciate the thought that went into the mod. The only request I have would be a way to see the whole health of the team at a rest site so you can make a better determination of whether or not you need to take a rest action instead of just the stats of the lead guy. It would also be interesting to have some kind of "revenge" card that triggers if one of the squad dies, similar to the enrage effect of the Mad Gremlin.

I like this a lot, but unfortunately all the best strats are damn near impossible to pull off with the heart unfortunately. I can tackle anything else, but there's not much you can do against the heart without a good draw so you can set up some of your powers etc.

@Hyposoc - You can make all non-combat damage be divided between gremlins by overriding AbstractPlayer's damage method - Just check

i was on the final boss and i tried to use a card that gave me block or something but also swapped to the wizard and it froze and would not close after 5 minutes and i had to restart my computer because of it.

I really love the concept for this mod, and it plays really well. One suggestion I have is to maybe add a small bit of UI or something that tells you what gremlins you have in your party.
