Some of the texture is overexposured after subscribing to this mod, and unsubscribing to it seems unhelpful

Is it just me or the superbloom 0 / 1 doesn't make any difference (seems to be on all the time) ?

Yo, I've fixed the nvg issue where light sources are having an afterimage. But it sacrifices the more legitimate nvg look. However, I tried my best to replicate it, but I figured that look can't entirely be replicated since I had to change the smalltexture to smallFB0 instead of FullFrameFB. Soooo, I'm gonna be including the whole files from here in my overhaul mod to prevent overlaps with my nvg fix instead. Here's the link:

I had no problem with night vision use personally. Looks good! though i notice a weird glare/ repeating mirror effect that causes like repetitions of glowing nightsight reticles from my makarov mod on light fixtures in a horizontal line. Maybe it's purposeful or a graphical bug with the mod. Strange, ignorable though. Interesting to look at.

oh shit thats pretty nice! if youre needing some good sound samples i have a whole shitload and im sure i have some indoor samples somewhere, though it looks like you got it under control. if you plan on doing explosion attenuation im sure i have some samples as well.

I learned alot since then and have been working to better fit with Source limitations.
There's still alot more testing and reworking to do but the framework is done.

unfortunately soundstaging isnt possible because all the things related to the sound environment, which is any command with DSP, is labeled as a "cheat" however ive found that in solo games, increasing DSP_Volume and additionally with other DSP modifications can really make the sound pop, the game already has decent soundstaging but they make very little use of it and discourage anyone from fixing it because it will only work with sv_cheats 1.

The game seems to only support full HDR mat_hdr_level 2 and bloom is pretty much disabled by this.
To your first question. There's audio obstruction, though it was never completed, it functions.
