I agree that it should be a different "plantation" to avoid spamming them for other bonuses (Temple of Artemis, Mayans, religions, ..). While I never noticed such an issue, I may have been oblivious to it (did not notice the boost for AI or myself) and players could abuse it.

This is cool but the AI is incredibly stupid and wastes stupid amounts of builders on just building +2 gold plantations early on

If you ever return to this mod p0kiehl, it would be pretty great if the "Plantation" improvement was made into a unique and separate "Jungle Plantation" so that the issues brought from the Mayans and the Temple of Artemis are rectified.

love the idea but i agree with @twomoores and @samson, too OP.
Same if you take a pantheon related to plantations.
Isn't it a way to make a specific improvement, not related to other part of the game ? For example, in the mod "Wetland" the camp sthat you create on swamp doesn't seem to affect temple of artemis (and the opposite would be nice, but that an other topic!)

I agree with samson, the Temple of Artemis in a jungle allows you to spam plantations and get insane amenities early on

This should come with a tweak to Temple of Artemis so that it only gets amenities from plantations on resources

I'm not altering goddess of festivals. I'm going to ensure that the pantheon will not apply to empty plantations. I've already considered this as soon as they announced that detail.

it will probably be a bit overpowered after the patch, because plantations will get all 1 culture when using the pantheon "Goddess of Festivals"

When i first saw this a week ago I thought this seemed a bit overpowered, but now that its announced that buffed lumbermills can be put on rainforests in the base game it almost seems like the opposite now.

i fully support your mod to chain saw all the jungles and turn them into palm oil plantations or coco farms. Because chocolate is the best thing in life.

I used to use jungle mills but it was just way too powerful with jungle civs. This looks much more reasonable. Love your work, dude!

Great! I always though of those jungle tiles as such a waste and odd looking in the end game.

It should work fine with that mod, but as a side note, I went with the Plantation rather than the Lumber Mill because (a) the lumber mill graphics in that mod still show pine trees, (b) the lumber mill building graphics don't really fit in with the "jungle" aesthetic," and (c) the Plantation is closer to the "Trading Post" jungle improvement from Civ 5 in that the main yield is Gold rather than Production.

Nice mod. Kinda wondering if Jungle Mills is compatible with it. Having extra housing does help in the long run especially when playing as Brazil.
