Copy and pasting the bit Shawmuscle posted in another comment here so people can see how to fix the weird great weapon wip thing

anyway to add an hp increase mod to the chaos lords for slow/ long battles ?

id like to report that all great weapon chaos infantry have wierd "tentacle/vine" animations (with aoe hits/charges it seems) after enabling this mod. i got 40+ mods but i tested purely by having sfo and this mod installed, that way i was able to nail down wich mod was causing the problems.

bit of a late answer but for anyone wondering it works fine with me, always recommend using Kaedrin's mod manager though, helps reduce mod issues I've noticed.

Love this mod, but it needs polishing and to be updated. Almost an entire year without an update is brutal.

not sure if anyone else gets this problem: game crushed and save file corrupted when lord of change betrays and invades.happened around 140 turns.

While the models are cool, the lord traits and skills are all simply either sigvald or archaon clones, and it's pretty disappointing.

yeah its a known problem. quote - "bloodthirster unit only attacks 1 entity
even though it shares the same melee_weapons_tables entry as the lord, only the lord works fine, splashing other entities."

I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but on manually fought battles the bloodthirster lord, despite having a melee attack of 140, and a weapon strength of +800 doesn't kill models...He bashes them around and sends them flying, but doesn't kill...The battle i'm fighting right now, i've had him in and among a bunch of marauder hunters for about 80-100 seconds and he's killed 8 of them...'sup with that?

I am getting crashes on fire sorcerer skill tree with this mode on. Works fine when i turn it off. Dont think its a conflict cause it still crashes when i turn off everything talent/hero related

Figured out the problem. Sadly, the "Plaguebearers of Nurgle" mod that adds that unit to Chaos causes a crash when enabled with this.

i can't recruit the lords on campaign,in custom battles everything works fine. i can also recruit the units in campaign,so the mod is deffenetly working. Would love a troubleshoot

I have finally got it, and was only able to do it by deleting all anim files in the h01c_2h_attack tree in RPFM, not the stand anims, just the attacks. Hope this doesn't mess up any other animations but I've done a custom battle and everything seemed fine.


Interestingly enough, during those battles I noticed I don't have an icon for the demon horses, is this intended? they have their model but not their card. Anyway thanks shawmuscle for at least giving me a lead on those whip/tentacle things, your mod is amazing but it was just so utterly immersion breaking :) Thanks again!

Is the whip animation gone yet? How would I go about unpacking the .pack, viewing the animation, and edit it to delete the animation?

For some reason every unit that uses two handed weapon or spear in the warriors of chaos roster have durthu's whip attack floating overhead lol. I have no idea what could be conflicting
