Would need some more information as to how the map is broken. Double check that you have the Network Extensions 2 set active in the content manager as if the road assets are not active, the map will surely break.
Also if you're having trouble getting this version to work, you could try using the original version of the map, although I reckon you're looking to use this version due to not having the Mass Transit DLC so perhaps the original map is out of question. I'd recommend getting the MT DLC in any case though, it's on sale pretty often and it's one of the must have DLC's for the game.
I hope this helps.
One thing just bugs me here. Why are almost all the oil sources distributed around the highways 😄
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any further questions :)

when i try to start a game with this map i get the above notification and when i close it it pops back up instantly. if anyone can help me figure this out id appreciate it greatly. thank you.
Now if it was a hicup my side when I loaded the map...
And I do know that you put a lot of effort into making sure you don't wrong any creator in any way, hence I was curious what was truly going on.
No worries though, the map looked pretty alright with different sand textures too haha
A sincere thank you for your time though, I know you're a busy man :) Keep up the great work!
I just had a couple of minutes and had a look at the Rockyshore theme, and you are right, it looks nothing like the footage from the video. There is always a chance that you 'might' be right with Theme Mixer, as I use this when recording my own city build. But I've not had time to open my build for a few weeks, the last show was 31st May, and I've not opened it since then. Therefore if it is Theme Mixer I'd expect every map since then to have this problem, and that's definitely not the case.
I genuinely honestly don't know, but as a matter of course when I screw up I always go back and try to put things right. I'll reload the map, and assuming I can ensure Rockyshore has loaded correctly, the map will start us off on Monday's show next week with a brief reload.
Sorry for the problem. I truly have no idea, but feedback is always helpful when things go wrong.
Anyhow, it's weird how the ore and sand textures look so different when compared to my screenshots. Any chance there was a theme mixer going on?
And I just want to say that I mean no offense, I'm just curious. My first message might have seemed like a rant, but that wasn't intentional, it's all just out of curiosity. Sorry about that.
You say you're not sure if I do it on purpose, its actually my ethic to show the map using the theme and LUT intended by the creator, and barring very rare FUs, (more often with LUTs) the settings are usually right. If I do feel a map would be improved I'll normally record this seperately and include as a curiosity at the end of the show.
So no, lol, I don't do it on purpose. Like with today's show, I wasn't even sure I was doing it at all. And I still don't know.
I watched the video and it seems you had a different map theme active. (looked more like SCT homecoming?) Not always sure if you do it on purpose or not, but I do think it would be fair to all creators if the map theme they made the map on would be used, even if you'd prefer another theme :)
I would've preferred if you had reviewed the mass transit version though, since it's the original one. All good though, love your videos. Cheers!

Anyway, it's now in the required items list :)
Thanks for pointing it out.
@profd, I haven't noticed that for myself but I guess I'll have to take a closer look. Can you identify the exact spot? I'll fix it of course if there's an issue.
One "suggestion": link Network Extension 2 as a Required Item for this one so that people can find it easier (especially new player or those new to modding who do not know of Network Extension)
In the meantime, here is a link to it:

@OP Seems the Rail tracks aren't connected at some point.. the long straight line exiting the tunnel..
Besides that, just looking at the traffic going through the map and all roadworks is.. interesting. Can't get myself to start building. I don't want to pollute the map.. Good job, Sir
AGAIN GREAT MAP! THANKS!
