changing the ship units disrupted naval battles. each unit now occupies two ships. however, only one ship is functionally used per unit, while the second remains idle and obstructs the movement of nearby ships

to Alan or anyone who think that "the game cant handle anything over 200 to 240 unit size on large battlefields"

you clearly don't have a high end on PC, i can play even Attila tw with 4x unit size no stutter, the reason i believe people need to stop saying "the game cant handle it" IT CAN until you go over 500 man units, your computer is the problem not the game, Rome 2 is well stable by now. its misleading to other people who want increased units and are lead to believe the game will be unstable with 320-480 unit size. now beyond that and above yeah then i agree with you the game couldn't handle it.

@Victory Forever, did you recruit new troops and upgrade some buildings first? was this installed in the middle of the game or with a new game? Give us more info, bro

None of the units are the size that the mod says they should be, mod doesn't seem to work.

The game can not handle anything over 200 to 240 unit size on large battles.. Unit stutter will kick off

could be the update or maybe it's because i'm still using my units from before i subscribed to the mod, i just used another double unit size mod and same thing happened. I'll have to recruit a new cav unit and see what happens

Another thing, the General Legatus doesn't have the correct values for all Rome factions for Imperator Augustus.

@AINSCO_SHEARING sorry for the late reply. but the problem is the ai is pretty dumb. and multiple unit size mods have this issue. so far no one has been able to fix it, either by adjusting the numbers or any other methods. the only way i can think of fixing the mod is by reducing the units altogether 200 infantry and less cavalry and missle units. say 175. becuase the max a transport ship can have is 200 capacity.

@Walter okay i honestly don't know then. i just posted 2 more screenshots of it working in the most recent version of total war rome 2, it works fine by itself and with formation mods, campaign mods that don't alter units, and it even works with reskin mods. the only thing i can think of is your using units from the beginning of the campaign instead of recruiting more.

@jasenkov ...... it doubles the size of every unit in-game... unless you're using a mod that adds units. its literally impossible for a unit size mod to double the size of every enemy unit without it also affecting yours.

Fixed. my bad guys it needed an update i'm guessing. probably had something to do with the fact i was on an older version of rome 2.

yes it does. unless you are using mods like radious and or divide et impera also other unit size mods because those mods tamper with the normal vanilla units in game just like this one does.

Nice mod but does it also work for formations like testudo? In case not do you know how to solve this problem? I would do it myself but I couldnt find anything about formation modding in the internet.
