I figured out the size I wanted and overlaid a hexagonal grid on a map of Newfoundland, all in image editing software. Then I coloured the hexes in if they were mostly lands, and mapped out where lakes, rivers, mountains, and forests were. I had to change some things up for playability, like adding the desert in Central, and tundra to the Northern and Avalon peninsulas, as well as including rainforests. Terrain is otherwise mostly random.

Yes, I did make it in World Builder. There is a guide here on Steam that I followed to upload it here. You'll need to download the Civ 6 modding tools as well.
