@<Fantaser®¶ [∆]> At first I also tried finding a good blender or 3ds max script to do that, but the only ones I found didnt keep the uv mapping data in the import process, so I had to use lightwave to load the md5 meshes and export them to a format that 3ds could use.

How did you port md5mesh models? I didn't find a working script on 3d Max or Blender to port to obj?

Just play ai nodes around the map where you want ai to be able to walk in.

Translating ETQW maps to source would be amazing and is something I myself have looked into, but is made quite difficult due to the supertexture format and the large amounts of terrain meshes in the original game.

It sure is a good game, personally I like quake 4 better but beign able to invade the earth as the strogg was pretty fun
