The text editor you use to write lua is your primary tool.
Thanks. i was just looking for tools to make mods.
You can start by learning lua.
http://www.lua.org/pil/1.html
So in other words you're spamming modders to make your rp characters for you?
Actually. i dont know how to make character mods. much less any mods. so feel free to do what you please with them!
That sounds interesting. Let me know when you've finished making them.

Oops that was wierd. It's fixed now. Thanks for letting me know.
@Helanger
If you're still interested, I finally found what was making it crash on your systems and not my own. If you're willing to give me a second chance it should work now. I apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.
I use my own mods all the time and I'm honestly not having this problem.
I even took a screenshot for you:

I'll reupload the mod just in case though. Hopefully that will fix it.
Hmm well nothing there really suggests it's my mod. Have you tried verifying game cache?
To do this, go to your Steam library, right click Don't Starve and click properties.
Go to the "local files" tab and click "verify integrity of game cache".
If it downloads any files then try my mod again. If it doesn't crash after that then it was probably a problem with your DS install files.
had to upload to another site because it had over 1000 characters

Can you post the contents of your Don't Starve log.txt file to pastebin.com for me?
In windows this is in documents\klei\donotstarve\
In linux this is at ~/.klei DoNotStarve/
Do you have other mods installed? If so, have you tried disabling them and seeing if it still happens? Have you also tried verifying install files?
What item in the in the structure tab is crashing?
Whoops I made a typo in the mod. It should be fixed in the new version. As for the second recipe I don't know what that is. It's not happening in my game. Can you screenshot it or something?
I didn't notice anything else though that I need to mention to you. Nothing out of the ordinary. Hopefully the bug with the Cobblestone Turf is fixed. Mind you, it is nice having two recipes for item(s). When recipes can use alternative materials, it makes sense that they be implemented, yah?
Regardless I'll find out how accurate these old descriptions are and tell you if there are any errors. I do like that you added additional crafting info that I asked, it is very very helpful.
(but the way, I usually have started adding small amounts of Cobblestone into the game once I finished Year 1, so its not exactly an end game only thing)
These are old descriptions that I mostly copy/pasted from the website. The cobblestone recipe changed before and I didn't update the description. I can see how it would be sort of a cheat but at the same time all it does is slightly increase your run speed when you're walking on it and you have to craft A LOT of them before they really become that useful. Other than that it's largely for aesthetics and it can be assumed anyone who's made it that far into their game to care about those kinds of things already has more than enough resources to craft that many cobblestone regardless how many rocks and logs it costs anyways. So really all it does is speed up the process. In any case, I did increase their cost but I can't promise their recipe cost won't change in the future.
Every turf that is possible to craft normally requires a Boards. If you make the recipe require 1 Boars and 1 Cutstone it would be alot more balanced and fair, and less a cheat.
Also, you did not mention how to craft a Berry Bush or Merman House. I would really like to know how exactly you did that.
Thank you. Rating up and favoriting, will subscribe once I learn the recipes I asked about or if you alter the Cobblestone recipe.
