Would it be possible to update it so the Commanders use both of the militaristic outfits? The black cloth with the colored wire/tube is currently unused as a leader portrait, iirc. Great mod!

Hey i know its a big ask for something so specific, But would you happen to still have older versions of your mods floating around? I recently got fed up with current Stellaris and rolled back to 3.6.1, But that far back very few mods including yours still work

In my recent game I found the Artisan Enclave as Kitsune which made me regret that you can't enter Migration Treaties with them (didn't get lucky with festivals). Speaking of, is that just insane dumb luck or does this mod actually make it more likely that Kitsune will be Artisans?

So idk how to fix this but when i open the government tab to look at the council the game drops to 4 to 9 frames it seams to happen on alot of your stuff and it only happens when there are more than one on screen.

I have a good kit too so it can't be that if your wondering the kit its a RTX 4080 super and a Ryzen 9 7950X3D

Theres a a bug in the vanilla game where civillians dont have any variety in hair or clothes. hoping they fix it so I can update or if someone else has fix it for them.

Some of your mods are resulting in AI empires never building military fleets. I think it's because the mods' shipsets default to bio ships, but that alone doesn't let empires build hatcheries.

Quick fix is copying the fallback value (e.g. avian_01) in graphical_culture.txt over to the graphical_culture key in species_classes.txt, then delete the graphical_culture.txt file.

okay nvm found out why, however , important question. since the mod worked anyway without an update before, why update now? and what exactly got updated? currently friends and me try to troubleshoot a bug and im 100% sure that kitsune mod is innocent. while my friend says its probably that cuz it got updated or because the mod isnt achievment compatible.

uhm i wanted to edit on my kitsuen race for a singleplayer palythrough but they dont appear in any facial set anymore, they are not under humanoid nor mammalian.

Also seems like keeping the species class as MAM will still allow you to gene edit them to other Mammalian portraits once in game just needs to be in a separate category if you want to select them on the empire builder screen. Hope this helps someone!

@Etiluos I took a look at the changes PDX made and it seems like you can't add them to a pre-existing species class anymore without overwriting it, so it might be better to just make it a separate category like it was in previous versions so it doesn't conflict with your other mods.

Also I made a typo in my last comment their both supposed to be EKITS in the copy paste sry about that

Looks like PDX changed where you assign portraits to a species class. Now they are assigned in a new folder called portrait sets. If you want to play with this mod now all you'll need to do is create two folders named "portrait_sets" and "portrait_categories" in this mod's workshop folder (C:\"Insert your steam install location here"\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\1796418794) and create a text file in "portrait_sets" named whatever you would like with the following text copy pasted inside the file:

EKITS = {
species_class = MAM

portraits = {
"kitsune"
}
}

In "portrait_categories" create a text file there too with the following:

EKIT = {
name = Kitsune

sets = {
EKIT
}
}

This will create a new category in the species list with the portrait allowing you to select and use it.

Just wanted to give a heads up that something about the new patch seems to have broken this mod. It's no longer showing up on the portrait list at all. Hopefully it's a simple fix!

Sure I have no problem with it if you want to make add on mods for it or with adding it to the mod crediting you. I'm just strap for time in life, I believe it might of been a extra add on at the time for the customer but its been so long.

its been so long since I made it, but looking at the files its probably because they don't have the kitsune clothes for it. They have the standard outfit which doesn't come with the mask for both of the genders.

Love this mod, as I have an obsession for Kitsune (Masks)! Though that does lead me to one, singular complaint- How come the Male body type doesn't get a mask option? If you've said before in previous comment, I cannot find it.

So found another bug where envoys and officials ( governors ) have a default look. I found the issue is in the asset selectors for the clothes where the trigger is using: and = { leader_class = governor leader_class = envoy }, the statement is resulting in it never being true because they can't be both a governor and an envoy at the same time. To resolve the bug the AND simply needs to be changed to an OR so it can check for if they are either of the leader classes.

P.S. Oooof that's just pain having to spend that long just uploading them all :spacemarineskull:

I did update the mod and move them to appropriate tabs not sure how that would make them pre-sapient but it be wonky sometimes.

for 40+ mods it was 5+ hours just uploading them, going through all of them I a week or so in code diving and slimming :cozycastondeath:

Awesome! Can't imagine how long it took with how many mods you have, most of the code I was looking at before the update seemed similar to what i'm used to for my hoi4 mods so I figured an extra pair of eyes here wouldn't hurt. ^-^

I have finish updating my mods to the latest version. It should have fix this, envoys, and some other stuff. it would move kitsune to the mammalian tab i think.
