I created a new quick smoothing mod [1.6] with a configurable speed multiplier:

@JefeBezos The error is not coming from that Asian fork, cause I'm not getting an error when I use it. I do however notice that it doesn't work at all.
JefeBezos 30 Jun @ 5:14pm
Personally downloaded this 1.5 fork from the workshop https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3263358742&searchtext=smoothin

Seems to be working for the most part, am getting some random new errors for misplaced defs, but they don't seem to be causing anything game breaking. My mod list is just over 500 so, not really in a place to blame any particular replacement.
Something_Smith 30 Jun @ 12:15pm
Hey all, to everyone like me who had 'Faster Smoothing' mysteriously evicted from their modlist, the 1.4 version still exists here: https://catalogue.smods.ru/archives/141892 and is currently working with my fully updated Rimworld.

If somebody wants to grab it and update, I'm sure the community would be thankful! I am not a modder, unfortunately, otherwise I would have already!

Whats happened with the 1.6 version?
JefeBezos 30 Jun @ 8:32am
Same issue as pop rocks. Guess I should have had a local back up. Sorry to post this in your comments, just curious to find the unofficial fork again and thought others might come here looking. Thanks for your mods

@Boyant thanks for being a G and actually testing it out to confirm.
poleto 22 Oct, 2022 @ 4:50pm
1.4?
Boyant 21 Oct, 2022 @ 11:19pm
it is! no errors for me
Boyant 21 Oct, 2022 @ 3:44pm
does it work in 1.4?
Laowai 13 Sep, 2022 @ 8:00am
Mountain base essential. Unless you have a 3000% manipulation pawn ofc
super_jqp 16 Feb, 2022 @ 2:37am
Essential.
Devildog 6 Feb, 2022 @ 7:00pm
awesome, No longer takes 5 quandrums to smooth out the freezer.
Copper Boltwire 27 Jul, 2021 @ 3:28am
woohooo!
Awesome
NECEROS  [author] 26 Jul, 2021 @ 3:03pm
update 1.3
Copper Boltwire 24 Jul, 2021 @ 4:16am
Neceros Would you be kind and just go to the about.xml and add 1.3 to the list, save it, fire up Rimworld and hop to modlist and just upload it. It works fine in 1.3, no need to change anything else from what i can see, except that, because it's not yet set to 1.3 - people will think it's now a dead mod, because PEOPLE DON'T READ comments or description. So please. Just do that. pweeese.
GHOST 22 Jul, 2021 @ 9:35pm
Still works.
Bom Train 22 Jul, 2021 @ 6:25am
Don't think it does still work
Gerewoatle 6 Jul, 2021 @ 5:39pm
Marvelous! And thank you for creating it in the first place. These little QoL mods really do make the game so much better.
NECEROS  [author] 6 Jul, 2021 @ 4:56pm
it should
Gerewoatle 6 Jul, 2021 @ 2:15pm
Here's hoping this one keeps working in 1.3.
el gamer 26 Jun, 2021 @ 9:31am
To answer my own question, yeah it apparently still works. Thanks for this mod- the vanilla smoothing speed is atrocious.
el gamer 25 Jun, 2021 @ 8:23am
Hey, still working in 1.2?
Mouse 11 May, 2020 @ 12:34am
Oh, I see. I wasn't smoothing one of the walls next to the corner, thus it wasn't smoothing. Thanks for the tip!
NECEROS  [author] 10 May, 2020 @ 11:22pm
You've never been able to smooth corners, sadly. That's why if you smooth both sides of a corner it will turn into a smoothed wall automatically.
Mouse 10 May, 2020 @ 10:52pm
Is anyone else having trouble with smoothing walls in corners? I, for some reason, cannot. Is this a vanilla thing?

Thanks in advance. Also, I love the mod, keep up the great work!

Something in this latest update is breaking my game... :(

UPDATE v1.1

Added a settings menu so you can select how much of a bonus to smoothing you'd like.
NECEROS  [author] 9 Feb, 2020 @ 1:31pm
@Somr you ain't wrong! I feel the same way. I'll check it out, but no promises.
fatburner 15 Oct, 2019 @ 11:19pm
Nice mod. How about a faster repair mod? I mean vanilla repair speed is fine for vanilla stuff, but you can get walls with over 1000HP with mods and repairing that after say a raid takes a really long time :) I know it can be considered cheaty, but who cares, those people that believe that wont use it :) Have a nice day
NECEROS  [author] 28 Aug, 2019 @ 2:34pm
I probably left a photoshop source in there... my b

I like this mod. But why is it 14Mb?
Zephyr 25 Aug, 2019 @ 4:01pm
as a paranoid mountain builder...... you goddamn beautiful bastard!
anomalocaris 13 Aug, 2019 @ 4:11am
@chef no homo tho
anomalocaris 13 Aug, 2019 @ 4:11am
I love you
electricpants 5 Aug, 2019 @ 6:20pm
this mod is a life saver for cave bases
TurboTokkie 4 Aug, 2019 @ 1:37am
However this mod is simpler to use, and also nice for people like me who tried a mountain base already and found out how boring it is to wait for smooth walls, and don't want to start a new save
Legion 20 Jul, 2019 @ 10:01am
I mean.. you can just edit scenario settings on the stat multiplier to do this.
NECEROS  [author] 20 Jul, 2019 @ 1:36am
Good! I love mountain bases. It's a shame it takes three times as long to smooth a wall than it does to build one from scratch.
pgames-food 19 Jul, 2019 @ 10:52pm
hi i think this will make more people try a mountain base :)
