Keep bugging Keen, they finally gave in and made small windows vanilla despite Merek saying he wouldn't do it. I don't think anyone will fix the textures on this mod.

@eximius88 Any ETA on the skins support? Or anyone who will work on a fixed fixed version?

BTW just tested only this mod and i have the corner 45 degree angle outside that have textures and in my main world who have a lots of other mod i have the 37(2 block slanted) angle in both direction (the one from 0 to half height) who have the skins...

i dont even know how it is different between 2 worlds...

So yeah...... votes for keen to just bloody add these to the lists to begin with??

for the new skins you need to set the material of the blocks to the material that the vanilla armor block has

How's he mod update coming along?
Molten Carnage 16 Sep, 2019 @ 6:17pm

It always cracks me up that, with so many awesome mods that provide functions Keen never put in the ones I miss the most are things like this. Thanks for all your work.

The current version does not contain deforming blocks, and does not have working skins. I am working on a new version that will have both.
Chaos_02 30 Jul, 2019 @ 11:49am
does this mod have deforming blocks? also Does it work with skins and Everything by now?

After some investigation, it appears that the skins are painted and scaled using the UV map for the textures. What this means is that when you have a block that is smaller and has a small UV map the painted skin will appear to be scaled to a larger size than a block that is physically larger that has a larger UV map. This can be mitigated by adjusting the UV scale at the downside of having any blocks using vanilla armor block textures look different when they are not skinned.

Interesting, I did not see that at all. Do you have an up close screenshot to demonstrate, preferably with the carbon fiber skin applied (I found that painting in red or yellow makes it much easier to see)?
Molten Carnage 20 Jul, 2019 @ 12:11pm
PS the texture scaling issue also appears on vanilla blocks and I have notified Keen.
Molten Carnage 20 Jul, 2019 @ 12:10pm
The problem is not just that the skins are not applying to all sides of all the blocks, there is also a texture scaling issue where the skins appear enlarged on the blocks that it did apply. This is not an issue on the default or the clean armor skins but it becomes painfully obvious with carbon fiber and digital camo skins.

I've identified the issue that prevents the armor skins (Carbon Fiber, Clean, Digital Camo) from being applied to the blocks, and currently working on a fix
Skallabjorn 19 Jul, 2019 @ 3:38pm
not all are working as fixed, confirmed.
Molten Carnage 19 Jul, 2019 @ 10:25am
Went in SE to finish my build that needed this mod then saw this https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1808947822 there's been no change, the blocks are still not taking the new textures completely. If you look carefully you'll see that the white carbon fiber skin only affects some sides on some of the blocks. This is the same for all of the armor skins.

Nice work

Thanks for doing this. ;)
