Thanks for the report! It's something that got ported over when I built the mod on the foundation of the previous officers mod but I haven't been able to find what's causing it. :/
Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately no, the officers overwrite the standard bearers. There might be a way to get them to work together (which would be my preferred option), but it would require significant restructuring of the officer mods so I haven't had the time for it. If I happen to have more time, energy and interest later I will probably look into it again though, now that SFO isn't getting new updates for game two there's a very stable environment to play around and test things.
But for now, if the unit has officers they will overwrite the standard bearers EXCEPT for the Empire, which mostly has standard bearers because I think they're awesome and fit the faction well. With other factions I had a slight preference for the officers so I kept them in place.
Updated for the Last Kiss!
Added a officers to a few of the SFO Skaven campaign units.
Everything should be up-to-date. I only did some cursory testing, do let me know if you notice something being off or encounter issues.
Cheers!
Thanks for letting me know! I suspect it's due to one of the naming conventions SFO changed for this update, I'll keep my eyes peeled for it. Since the mod's not functioning correctly I will put extra thought to updating it ASAP
As a reminder for everyone: You can deactivate both officers mods for now and just reactivate then when I upload the updated SFO version, no need to start a new campaign to use it.
Went through all the tables and made sure everything is up to SFO's current standards. You should be able to continue your existing campaign with no problems.
I also gave Mors clanrats their officers, they were sorely needing some.
Great that it started working without much trouble, cheers!
Thanks! I think next week I'll probably have the time to update the remaining tables in the mod as well, hopefully it will fix the issue you're experiencing.
Thanks for letting me know! Have you tried the usual mod troubleshooting steps, like unsubscribe, delete the mod file, resubscribe, verifying integrity of game files, making sure the mod load order is correct, etc.?
You can use the mod now and when I have the time, I will make sure everything else is also working to current SFO specifications but that shouldn't interfere with ongoing campaign saves. In the meantime, let me know if you notice anything else a bit hinkey.
Thanks for letting me know! It seems I was overconfident in not doing a trial run myself, I assumed it would work without a hitch since the patch notes didn't mention anything relating to the mod. But now that I did, it crashes for me as well. I will dig around the insides of both mods and see what asset has gone missing to cause the crash.
Again, thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it!
However, doing a little random sampling test revealed one minor issue in one of the 9 units I sampled. It might be the only one, but since I wasn't mentioned I will eventually double check each unit to make sure they're up to SFO's current standards. Once done, the mod update should work without a hitch and not interrupt your campaigns :)
In the meantime, you should be able to just play SFO as soon as you want to and then pop the officers mods on once this submod has been updated.
Take care, and enjoy the Great Plan!
Unfortunately those were coming straight from SFO itself (I just removed this mod's officers for the SFO units that had cool looking officers) and I didn't think to save them anywhere. When SFO altered them they were gone :/ That said, I do think the banner "officers" look very nice for the Empire overall.
Yeah, sometimes the manager doesn't show it correctly. But if you go to SFO mod page you can see that it is being updated. Usually it takes anything from a few weeks to a month for the mod team to get it up to date with the new DLC, depending on how many things were changed.

Solid advice!
only for more armies SFO submod, I will open the manager again
Currently SFO is out of date and causes the game to crash on start up. I will be able to update this mod once SFO gets updated.
I will test soon as other mods I use get updated but Im glad if anyone test it before me
Thank you! I was toying with the idea of making a version that where you keep the SFO officers for the factions that have them and have these ones for the others, but since the SFO team was planning on keeping on updating their officers to every faction I thought it might not be worth the trouble.
Thank you, glad to hear you like it!
Unfortunately no timetable at the moment. I know I'll be pretty busy with other things over the next few months so I don't know how much modding I'll be doing then. For the same reason I'm not planning on making new mods right now. I do use expanded greenskins roster every now and then though, and it would be pretty neat to have the officers present in those units as well. Maybe one day, but it's months off at this time.
Indeed :/ I don't have a ton of time for modding right now but would be very nice to find a way to get them work together.
It took me longer than usual to get to updating this time, here's to hoping the wait a bit shorter for the next SFO patch.
And as ever, let me know if you notice something funky going on with the officers!
Lol, we very much will! The wait has been a lot longer than usual but I'll get it done pretty soon.
Thank you, I'm glad you enjoy it!
Pretty soon™! I'm looking forward to playing the new version of SFO, but I also want to see the officers there when I play.
You are correct, submods should be placed above to work correctly. I thought I had made sure of that with the file names but it seems like I made a blunder there... Thanks for pointing it out! I doubt Workshop allows changing the file name without creating a completely new mod page, I'll have to look into it. In the meantime I'll change this mod page to make it clear that the order needs to be manually adjusted :)
Hello there! Yes it is intentional :) Both Skaven and Goblin officers are situated at the back, except for the Goblin cavalry units. The makers of the original All Faction Officers mod made that design choice and like you, I liked that it fit with the character of those species in the lore and gave the mod that extra bit of flair, so I saw no reason to go changing it.
What i notice now, is that the actual officer is not at the center of the first row of the unit, but he's positioned to the side of the very last row. This is happening with Skaven
Is this intentional (as with Skaven it would be very loreful!) or is ther a conflict?
thank you!
Thanks, I appreciate it!
