@Big Bear Bardiche

Thanks for the report! It's something that got ported over when I built the mod on the foundation of the previous officers mod but I haven't been able to find what's causing it. :/
Big Bear Bardiche 8 Jan, 2022 @ 7:20am
For me tomb king officers have the light blue ghost texture when zoomed out, but look correct when you get closer.

@EzUNreal

Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately no, the officers overwrite the standard bearers. There might be a way to get them to work together (which would be my preferred option), but it would require significant restructuring of the officer mods so I haven't had the time for it. If I happen to have more time, energy and interest later I will probably look into it again though, now that SFO isn't getting new updates for game two there's a very stable environment to play around and test things.

But for now, if the unit has officers they will overwrite the standard bearers EXCEPT for the Empire, which mostly has standard bearers because I think they're awesome and fit the faction well. With other factions I had a slight preference for the officers so I kept them in place.
EzUNreal 12 Dec, 2021 @ 2:36pm
Thanks for update! SFO already has battle standard bearers, does this work with it? If I have this and SFO at same time, units will get both standard bearers and officers added by this mod?
ihKu47  [author] 12 Dec, 2021 @ 6:41am
it took me longer than I expected to find the time to finish it, but here we are:

Updated for the Last Kiss!

Added a officers to a few of the SFO Skaven campaign units.

Everything should be up-to-date. I only did some cursory testing, do let me know if you notice something being off or encounter issues.

Cheers!

@SoloYolo2
Thanks for letting me know! I suspect it's due to one of the naming conventions SFO changed for this update, I'll keep my eyes peeled for it. Since the mod's not functioning correctly I will put extra thought to updating it ASAP :lunar2019piginablanket:

As a reminder for everyone: You can deactivate both officers mods for now and just reactivate then when I upload the updated SFO version, no need to start a new campaign to use it.
ihKu47  [author] 27 Nov, 2021 @ 2:02am
The mod needs an update to be in line with the current version of SFO II (Last Kiss), but the changes I've come across now don't seem to game breaking thus far. I'll work towards an update as my schedule allows but if you do keep using the mod while you wait, let me know if you run into noticeable issues :cleancake:
ihKu47  [author] 15 Sep, 2021 @ 11:59am
Glad you're enjoying it! :lunar2019piginablanket: And I agree, I just want to be able to complete a nice SFO ME campaign while enjoying other games as well. :cleandino:
Miquel, aka Salsa de Rana 15 Sep, 2021 @ 6:03am
Thank you for your work man! It will be nice to have somewhat stable modding list for a while now :D
ihKu47  [author] 11 Sep, 2021 @ 8:59am
Updated!

Went through all the tables and made sure everything is up to SFO's current standards. You should be able to continue your existing campaign with no problems.

I also gave Mors clanrats their officers, they were sorely needing some.

@ronchielicious
Great that it started working without much trouble, cheers! :lunar2019piginablanket:
In The Emperor's Name 3 Sep, 2021 @ 6:18pm
Deleting the mod and resubscribing seems to have fixed it for me. Cheers
ihKu47  [author] 3 Sep, 2021 @ 6:59am
@ronchielicious
Thanks! I think next week I'll probably have the time to update the remaining tables in the mod as well, hopefully it will fix the issue you're experiencing.
In The Emperor's Name 2 Sep, 2021 @ 6:22pm
eh not yet, going to work but Ill get back to you
ihKu47  [author] 28 Aug, 2021 @ 4:42pm
@ronchelius

Thanks for letting me know! Have you tried the usual mod troubleshooting steps, like unsubscribe, delete the mod file, resubscribe, verifying integrity of game files, making sure the mod load order is correct, etc.?
In The Emperor's Name 28 Aug, 2021 @ 3:19pm
Personally I am still having crashes, thought I would let you know. With grimhammers latest update its still cashing.
ihKu47  [author] 28 Aug, 2021 @ 1:02am
Quickfix done, mod should be functional now! It seems like Empire, Chaos and Norsca and something in their tables that clashed heavily with the new version of SFO, which caused the game to crash. Thanks again to @Big Bear Bardiche for reporting in! :cleanfloppy:

You can use the mod now and when I have the time, I will make sure everything else is also working to current SFO specifications but that shouldn't interfere with ongoing campaign saves. In the meantime, let me know if you notice anything else a bit hinkey.
ihKu47  [author] 27 Aug, 2021 @ 2:26pm
Did some digging for a quick fix and thought I had found the things causing the crash, but it still keeps happening. I did get another solid lead for the cause though, will see if I have a moment to follow it this weekend. If I do, I should be able to cook up a temporary quick fix at least. Fingers crossed!
ihKu47  [author] 27 Aug, 2021 @ 12:54pm
@Big Bear Bardiche
Thanks for letting me know! It seems I was overconfident in not doing a trial run myself, I assumed it would work without a hitch since the patch notes didn't mention anything relating to the mod. But now that I did, it crashes for me as well. I will dig around the insides of both mods and see what asset has gone missing to cause the crash.

Again, thanks for letting me know, I appreciate it! :cleancake:
Big Bear Bardiche 27 Aug, 2021 @ 12:33pm
Much appreciated. So this version should already be working? Because when i enable this with the original mod and SFO i crash before the main menu. If i disable it everything is fine. Is it just me?
ihKu47  [author] 27 Aug, 2021 @ 5:51am
Ok, I went through the change notes and there was nothing there that should affect this mod. The mod is ready to use with the current version of SFOII, The Great Plan!

However, doing a little random sampling test revealed one minor issue in one of the 9 units I sampled. It might be the only one, but since I wasn't mentioned I will eventually double check each unit to make sure they're up to SFO's current standards. Once done, the mod update should work without a hitch and not interrupt your campaigns :)
ihKu47  [author] 22 Aug, 2021 @ 2:08am
Just a heads up: I have a very busy couple of weeks coming up, so I am not sure how long it will take me to get the mod up and running. Sooner if there are few changes to the units that get officers, later if there are many. I'm pretty eager to get to try the newest version of the mod though, and I ofc want the officers to be there as well, so updating will be on my mind :)

In the meantime, you should be able to just play SFO as soon as you want to and then pop the officers mods on once this submod has been updated.

Take care, and enjoy the Great Plan!
ihKu47  [author] 8 Aug, 2021 @ 1:54pm
@reaverbad
Unfortunately those were coming straight from SFO itself (I just removed this mod's officers for the SFO units that had cool looking officers) and I didn't think to save them anywhere. When SFO altered them they were gone :/ That said, I do think the banner "officers" look very nice for the Empire overall.
reaverbad 5 Aug, 2021 @ 3:01pm
would it be possible to get the pistol wearing officers back for the range units for SFO?
ihKu47  [author] 18 Jul, 2021 @ 1:12am
@Қurø

Yeah, sometimes the manager doesn't show it correctly. But if you go to SFO mod page you can see that it is being updated. Usually it takes anything from a few weeks to a month for the mod team to get it up to date with the new DLC, depending on how many things were changed.

@=[NK]= Col. Jack O'Neil

Solid advice!
=[NK]= Col. Jack O'Neil 17 Jul, 2021 @ 5:33am
If you use the steam beta to rollback, the old SFO should still work. But other mods that have been updated might not work
♋ Zero Two 17 Jul, 2021 @ 4:55am
really? for me the icon about being outdated not pops in SFO main mod
only for more armies SFO submod, I will open the manager again
ihKu47  [author] 16 Jul, 2021 @ 1:05pm
@Қurø

Currently SFO is out of date and causes the game to crash on start up. I will be able to update this mod once SFO gets updated.
♋ Zero Two 16 Jul, 2021 @ 8:02am
until last patch before 14 jul, I was without problems.
I will test soon as other mods I use get updated but Im glad if anyone test it before me
ihKu47  [author] 30 Mar, 2021 @ 1:46pm
I received some feedback on the main mod's page that the old upload date was causing some issues on getting the mod to launch. Let me know if you encounter difficulties with this mod and I'll reupload it to get it to show up-to-date.
ihKu47  [author] 30 Mar, 2021 @ 1:44pm
@JethroKirby

Thank you! I was toying with the idea of making a version that where you keep the SFO officers for the factions that have them and have these ones for the others, but since the SFO team was planning on keeping on updating their officers to every faction I thought it might not be worth the trouble.
JethroKirby 17 Feb, 2021 @ 8:06pm
I really like it so far after a bit of testing. I really like the officer models. I believe my preference would be for all of SFO's standard bearers to be left in place and only using the officer models for units that SFO doesn't touch. That is just a minor gripe however. Thanks for the mod.

@voiceofreason467

Unfortunately no timetable at the moment. I know I'll be pretty busy with other things over the next few months so I don't know how much modding I'll be doing then. For the same reason I'm not planning on making new mods right now. I do use expanded greenskins roster every now and then though, and it would be pretty neat to have the officers present in those units as well. Maybe one day, but it's months off at this time.
voiceofreason467 12 Feb, 2021 @ 7:10pm
Any idea when you might be able to get it to work together? Also, can you make an extra submod that makes it compatible with sons of asuryan and expanded greenskin roster?
ihKu47  [author] 3 Feb, 2021 @ 3:32pm
@Darkryba
Indeed :/ I don't have a ton of time for modding right now but would be very nice to find a way to get them work together.
Darkryba 3 Feb, 2021 @ 1:29pm
It's a pity that we can't have them both :(
ihKu47  [author] 3 Feb, 2021 @ 12:02pm
Updated! The big change this time around is that I allowed a bunch of the Empire officers to be written over by SFO, so they get replaced by SFO's standard bearers. I think the standard bearers look more at home in their units and this change additionally achieves a more uniform look for the faction since, thanks to awesome faction updates, there's so many units that weren't given an officer by this mod. Units that don't have standard bearers in SFO, such as artillery units and a number of cavalry units, retain their officers. I'm not sure if this will be a temporary change or if I will revisit the Empire officers with more customisation in the future, but we'll see. I hope you guys like it as much as I do!

It took me longer than usual to get to updating this time, here's to hoping the wait a bit shorter for the next SFO patch.

And as ever, let me know if you notice something funky going on with the officers!
ihKu47  [author] 2 Feb, 2021 @ 6:06am
@SoloYolo2
Lol, we very much will! The wait has been a lot longer than usual but I'll get it done pretty soon.

@voiceofreason467

Pretty soon™! I'm looking forward to playing the new version of SFO, but I also want to see the officers there when I play.
voiceofreason467 19 Jan, 2021 @ 1:11am
You going to be update soon?
ihKu47  [author] 18 Nov, 2020 @ 1:04am
@WinterWolf

You are correct, submods should be placed above to work correctly. I thought I had made sure of that with the file names but it seems like I made a blunder there... Thanks for pointing it out! I doubt Workshop allows changing the file name without creating a completely new mod page, I'll have to look into it. In the meantime I'll change this mod page to make it clear that the order needs to be manually adjusted :)
Winter 17 Nov, 2020 @ 5:59pm
Is it right that this mod is automatically placed below the main mod? I thought sub-mods were placed above? Just wanna make sure my mod list is correct.
ihKu47  [author] 19 Sep, 2020 @ 5:30am
@John Matrix

Hello there! Yes it is intentional :) Both Skaven and Goblin officers are situated at the back, except for the Goblin cavalry units. The makers of the original All Faction Officers mod made that design choice and like you, I liked that it fit with the character of those species in the lore and gave the mod that extra bit of flair, so I saw no reason to go changing it.
John Matrix 19 Sep, 2020 @ 4:53am
Hey there! Ive just not tried subbing to this mod after quite some time. Using SFO + this + the vanilla base mod.
What i notice now, is that the actual officer is not at the center of the first row of the unit, but he's positioned to the side of the very last row. This is happening with Skaven
Is this intentional (as with Skaven it would be very loreful!) or is ther a conflict?
thank you!
Please add oficers to Regiments of Renown - Compilation (SFO: GRIMHAMMER 2 addon)

Thanks, I appreciate it! :lunar2019piginablanket: I'm glad you're enjoying the officers as well!

You're a legend, bro. Thanks for all the work you've put into this mod, and I'm excited to see officers and standard bearers alongside one another in the future. Gonna be awesome.
