I just can't figure out which parameter is responsible for coal, iron ore, grain and so on. I've made sure there are containers, logs and rollers in the car, but I don't understand how to make bulk resources.

Everything is contained within the .mdl file. The levels of cargo are determined there also, as well as the assignments of the meshes.

Feel most free to have a pick through my mod to see how I have done it, and have a look at the vanilla wagons also.

The model viewer is very helpful in this situation :)

I copied the vanilla code from the default 1850 open wagon ;) nothing super clever.

With all these pregame-eramods, we need a mod, that does let you start in let's say 1800 or 1830

Wouldn't it be awesome if someone could add a new start date in 1800? Then all of these early trains and wagons more appropriate. Keep up the good work!

Not sure how you're achieving that one. Do they work if you have no other mods installed?

Hi, just to let you know, there seems to be an issue with maximum speeds. The barrel wagon and shallow wagon have a max speed of just five kph, meaning that they cannot seem to be profitable, and the Chaldron wagon has a maximum speed of "-0 km/h" meaning that it cannot move at all. I love the models, but sadly I cannot see a way to use them. Love your work!
