More pictures would be nice, why is it that a lot of people only pot up one picture if you want to show your work off ?.

Excellent route. Thanks mate.

Hi Rich, thanks for your prompt reply.
Will definitely make it clear that I am using the unelectrified route and will mention that you are the author.
Many thanks, Regards, Paul

Hi Paul,

Please feel free to publish as many scenarios as you want. Only thing I advise is you make it clear that you're using this version of the route. All the best,
Rich

Hi 37114, have only recently found your GW Mainline (Unelectrified) route, just after publishing a 1963 based scenario having to use the electrified route that comes with the game.
Well done on publishing this variant, it must have been a lot of work.
Have tried a basic test scenario from Paddington to Didcot and it works fine, and with my old PC it works faster than the basic route, probably due to using less memory.
Would like to Publish a scenario on the Workshop using this route if that's OK with you.
Many Thanks, Regards, Paul

Superb route, thanks

37114, it's jefferson.hall1, try this. Go to the drive menu and the scenario and route should be there, then treat it as normal scenario. It's the way TS2014 does it now, Give it a go I did and it worked. Hope it works for you.

jefferson.hall1 I have the same problem. It keeps saying I need to download the route yet I created this version! Bizzare.
Deltic61 9. okt. 2013 kl. 6:18
Hi again, I have two scenarios for the route. But they don't work with the route. All it tells me is get the route, which I already have. I can see by one of your replies that you have the same problem, whatever scenario made for this route keeps saying I need the route which I've already got. I don't think a screen shot of a picture withe DLC needed - Get Route.
richfx  [ophavsmand] 8. okt. 2013 kl. 9:49
Press F12 to get a screen shot. This is a route and not a scenario. There are scenarios that do exsist for it on the workshop.
Deltic61 8. okt. 2013 kl. 9:37
Not to sure how to get a screen shot. When you use the route it comes up with Train, Route and Weather. You pick your train, then pick this route and instead of having a list of departure stations and destination stations the route indicator is blank, nothing there. If that makes any sense. Hope you can sort it out 37114

jefferson.hall1 I'm not quite sure what you mean. Could you post a screenshot? It does seem that this feature of route uploads hasn't been properly thought out. I tried to play a workshop scenario for it and it told me I needed to download the route. I created it!!!
Deltic61 8. okt. 2013 kl. 7:34
I downloaded this route, I already have the Great Western Mainline but when using the route there are no start or destination routes, they're blank. Any answers?

Changed my mind slightly having had a quick fly along the route---those milk bottles could also be missing AWS or TPWS ramps/grids. I didn't dpot any missing 'bits' and RW Tools only shows some 'containes' missing--perhaps a typo when renaming 'containers' ?
gptechuk 7. okt. 2013 kl. 11:22
JLD 95, 37114..those objects on the line are 'milk bottles'--the games way of displaying markers for scenery items that are missing so I'd suggest they're indicating where an OHLE gantry (or similar) was.
richfx  [ophavsmand] 6. okt. 2013 kl. 4:53
@JLD95 Not too sure what they are. I can't identify them in the World Editor. The electrification was removed by using RW Tools.
JLD95 6. okt. 2013 kl. 0:10
Thank you for this route.
A question: On following picture, Is it a relic of electrification or is it something else?

FAO lakenham & Trainz this route is fine. If you wish to make a scenario for it just go to scenario editor and 'NEW' and thats it. This isn't a sarcastic reply either, just trying to help
richfx  [ophavsmand] 3. okt. 2013 kl. 8:56
@lakenham There's no sarcasam just a simple answer to a simple question. It's a route thats been created with intention for scenario authors to create scenarios for the time period before Paddington was electrified. The description is perfectly clear.
lakenham 3. okt. 2013 kl. 8:53
Same problem, no destinations, how are we suppose to use it ? a simple explanation would have been better than a sarcastic reply , we are not all computer geniusus
richfx  [ophavsmand] 2. okt. 2013 kl. 11:58
@Trainz It's a route, not a scenario.
Monsieur Kyle 2. okt. 2013 kl. 11:38
When i go to Workshop Subsrciptions and click this is goes to quick drive and when i try to select the desti and start nothing comes up in the from and to boxes

Looks like a very sweet and neede modification. Well done!
