weird, I checked the source folder of the mod and I have the _metadata file. Maybe the asset packer ignored it for some reason?

Hey, I unpacked your mod and saw that there was no "_metadata" or ".metadata" file included. As a result, I think Starbound won't display your mod under the "Mods" section in the main menu

btw, I double checked about Avali's diet. They are omnivores so they should be able to eat vanilla meat, as omnivores supposedly can eat anything that is not raw unless specified.
Anyways, tell me if there is still problems.

Okay, it should be fixed now. I changed every food (except the tier1 noodles) to "Cooked Meat" so Avalis can eat their own stuff. It seems it's a Frackin Races problem that Avali can't eat Cooked Meat + Vegetables" as that category should be safe for them.
Anyways, let me know if you find any more bugs.

Oh I somehow put the normal noodles in the meat category, sorry for that I'll fix it now.
About the tacos, they are Meat + Vegetables so that seems to be right. Acording to Frackin Races, It seems they are "exclusively" carnivores so maybe they can't eat any kind of vegetables despite the fact that it also has meat? I'll change them to only meat so avali players can at least eat their own stuff. Thanks for letting me know.

Um my Avali can't stomach there own tacos :o Dunno if this is the mod doing it or if it's meant to be that way?

The mod is indeed working [imgur.com] so you either have a conflict on your end or don't have something installed.

@Dis_conected Are you sure it isn't another mod? This mod is a .patch file that changes the description of the food and adds the intended effect. I tested it before uploading and the worst case scenario is that when you consume the item you get an error about an unknown effect if I happend to misspell something.
Check your starbound.log file to see whats causing it.

The Avali race mod adds some kind of meat jerkies that can be eaten or used to make better
avali noodles and avali tacos.

oh, i did not relize the avali race had meat added to it, unless if your talking about the plants that are grown with the mod

Nope. The food is in it but have no "stats" so you could be an Herbivore and still can eat the Avali's meats.
