Worked great until now. I noticed a bug with this mod where you place fossil fragments anywhere (only tried Caves), it crashes the server

Can you add the ruins chair to the list? you can easily do a wall with it that you can pass by free because of the sit action.

I appreciate the offer. I think I understand.
The Fossil barrier around my Moonstone is as thin as a Fossil barrier can be placed, so I'm going to add some Statues to the barrier and place all the Fossils closer together to see if that helps. If it doesn't I'll try to reinforce the barrier with extra layering, or use Statues only and forget the Fossils.
The new Varglet Hound Waves passing through my solid Statue barrier is a whole next issue, but I don't think there's anything that can be done about that.

if there are too many mobs or the server is lagging, sometimes creatures will push other creatures through objects, even walls and terrain. the only way to prevent this from happening is double layering. if you want you can add me on steam and send me a screenshot of moonstone to see why this is happening.

Thanks for taking time to share some tips. I didn't realize placing the Fossils closer together would prevent mobs from passing through, or that Statues make for a better barrier.
Placing Statues isn't too boring, however I noticed that Hound Wave have started running through my Statue barriers in the game recently, maybe something to do with their QoL Update? I wanted to ask about that too, but I didn't want to flood you with questions.

Put the fossils closer together or place an extra fossil where the pigs are passing through.
For the moon stone event i recomend to use statues. I know placing statues is kinda boring, but the statues have bigger hitboxes.
You can use this mod to help place the statues.

Hey, SC. When I'm placing a Starcaller Staff in and out of the Moon Stone during a Full Moon, the Werepigs are somehow managing to move through a Fossil barrier I placed around the Moon Stone. I can't move through the Fossil barrier, Pigs in regular form don't move through the Fossil barrier and I figured you are the best person to ask if there's anything that can be done to prevent it from happening. Any tips or ideas?

hello ;-) I tested in the official release and it proved that the Knobbly Tree Nut is capable of blocking structure destroyer mobs(bosses, clockwork rooks, etc.) XD proved to be a perfect blocking tool I think you should model this nut

depends if it's not destroyed by bosses, sure.
if it isn't, it kind of doesn't have to. since the structures you already have are simpler to make.
when the new update arrives I'll test it.

hi and are you gonna model the new Knobbly Tree Nut introduced in Waterlogged beta? This thing's crazy(it cannot be destroyed directly by mobs or be ignited) and I'm pretty sure many would prefer to use this to trap certain mobs like statues

nothing my 3000 days mega are perfect fine.
the base game walls work the same way as the mod, my mod just makes these structures do not lose their physics at distance.
I never noticed any impact on my servers using this mod. I tested it a lot before posting. but on weak computers I don't know the results.

I assume the game unload the statue/walls while you're not in the area for better game performance. I'm wondering how much it affects in-game performance if keeping this mod on in a magebase where there are tons of statues/walls

I will uptade the entire mod to make sure that not only statues have physics away from the player, but also other objects like end tables, fossil, lureplants and so on.

hi and I noticed how glass spikes/castles (which are basically heavy objects similar to statues) not stopping mobs from passing through them when unloaded from a player's vicinity when having this mod installed. I do suggest to do your alters to glass statues and hopefully other heavy objects as well

Mobbstar, yes it is this line.
I used the code only in the statues, because after several tests it did not impact the server, but if you use in many structures the server will be lagged.

this is all sorts of ironic, considering the fact creatures can be trapped by statues is more likely to be considered a bug by the developers. Still, thanks for making this :steamhappy:
