I just set the game to "All Unlocked" Progression, select my traits and stuff, then set it back again. They show visually as locked, but the skills are actually unlocked.
When I bought the DLC, it unlocked the character, but now I can't unlock any of the skills. It says "Path missing" or something like that.
For some reason my modded realm character with this mod has all my main realm unlocks, when I wanted to start from scratch.
There isn't really much I can do about it in my code, since that only operates in the modded realm. I could reset all talents when you exit the game (in the modded realm), but that would be inconvenient for users since they'd have to set all their talents up again on every restart. And it wouldn't really fix the problem anyway, because anybody who wanted to could evade the talent reset by killing the game via Alt+F4 or Task Manager. I think it's something that only Fatshark can fix in the actual game code.
It is probably because his talents have not be reinitialized since he cannot access the talents on that hero yet. I suspect once he gets level 5 the talents will go back to normal.
Apologizes for not testing that possibility before reporting to you! I used to work QA, should've realized this possibility before reporting, but was being sloppy.
Perhaps add a "make sure you have logged into DLC careers for the first time before trying to play them with this mod" warning to the description?

I was surprised I didnt run into an immediate issue in chaos wastes, so I was asking if there was something particularly incompatible to watch out for, but i wasnt necessarily expecting the situation to be long term tenable in the wastes. So chaos wastes may not be fixed since its a lot of work for the creator.
@thegamerguy At the end of any level? Or a chaos wastes level?

@Mightfo: I don't have any plans at this stage to make the mod work in the Chaos Wastes game mode, but I'll try to fix any problems the Chaos Wastes update may have caused to existing functionality.
