A great scenario, thanks for sharing. The tight timetable and heavy traffic demand constant attention, especially the end was fantastic.

It's what I used to do for a living, and with 2 aspect signalling there will always be a distant signal so you will always get a yellow before a red. as you say its just wrong.

I'm just an enthusiastic anateur I suppose,but the issues with this bit of route have been talked about in other scenarios where you go from running under the usual 4 aspect signals to suddenly switching to 2, therefore green-to-red with no advance warning causing many a de-railment,you can avoid it next time you run it,if you remember but RSC could so easily have put in the correct signalling,or fixed it for TS2014,who knows if they even know there's a problem? I suppose we can live with it if we have to.

Most enjoyable run,good to see the old DMUS and 37s and 47s on this route again. Did have a scare the first time I ran it though,approaching Paddington at 40mph got the old red signal directly after a green scenario that does appear to crop up on this bit of route,should have expected it really as I was'nt due into Paddington for another 7 minutes,was bound to be stopped somewhere. Anyway,it was ok second time around.Not your fault about the signals,you can only work with what the route gives you,I dont't know why there are 2 aspect signels on this bit of route,this area has always had 3 aspects,why they have'nt used those no-one knows! No signal engineer would use 2 aspects to control the approaches to a station like this with all those junctions,you're just asking for disaster. Well done anyway,hope to see more scenarios soon. (And good to see the correct destinations on all the DMUS, I never want to see another "sorry-not in service" again!)
