Yellow boxes are signal/sensor package located around tracks either to deliver signal to train or measure train's location. Boxes on sleepers can also be used for ETCS system.

As for red box, it's delivery unit for power to third rails

What are the yellow boxes and red clips? (I don't know what they are called, so can't google for what their purpose is and thus don't know how / where to use them)
