yeah, literally 10 minutes before typing this message i tried to close them under blast doors held by pistons (was trying to enclose a lift) and... yeah... lots of force in all the wrong places... lol

Yeah, unfortunately fixing the mount points from the original mod didn't fix that. Apparently hangar doors are implemented by pushing away objects instead of being an actual collision, which seems to be amplified by these longer doors, leading to big forces being applied when touching the doors. This even happens sometimes when you touch the doors when they are closed. I'm not using them anymore because of that.

hmm. need to remember not to step on the moving parts while they're in motion. instant death :)
