@ mannd1068: it's just base item renames, if they don't work, a dlc or other mod might interfere. dlc's don't for all i know, so guess it'll be a mod - putting it last (or after that mod anyway) in your load order should fix this

Arrows are not in order, everything else is, just not arrows.

@ amrie: hammerfest451 is right, i don't have any of the skyrim dlc, so i don't get these items in ck so i could mod them, sry

@amrie iirc s7o doesn't have the dlcs...so the arrows you mentioned wouldn't be there. sry mate

Sorry about commenting for a third time but I just noticed that Nordic & Sunhallowed/Bloodcursed Elven arrows aren't in the "Arrow ~" list either

Furs/Hides would be amazing to have in order as well. Also, I've found that Dragonbone Arrow isn't in the "Arrow ~" list.

Any chance that you could add DG Bolts to this?

@ rcbecker: i think that's a side effect of item stacking. like, remove 1 item from a stack of 6, end up with 5 identlcal non stacked items and the rest of inventory scrolled down...
(if you ask me, i'd stack or not. if it's 2, it's a stack and done with, no scrolling issues - or go back to morrowind style inventory sorting right away :-)

Soul gems are the worst if you trying to remove lots of similar items they shift up and down in your folder as your moving them back and forth between you and the chest

@ mcsupersport: there's no crossbow bolts in vanilla game, and i got none of the dlc's, so can't do. has already been done otherwise though, check out ---> b's for bolts (no, really :-)

You should also include crossbow bolts too. It is great for the arrows, ingots and stuff, but I miss the bolts being the same way.

Yeah I use just Ingot but if you continue to implement better sorting methods *and I hope hope hope you do* I wanted you to be aware of using the tilde key within that sorting method and the issues that can come with it. Hey hon! Opening the console & typing in help word brings up the item name & code for it. Say you want to look up iron, open your console and type help iron & hit enter. You will then see all things iron & the codes. Should you want to look up something with more than one word, like iron ore, you enclose the name in quotations like so: help "iron ore". So using the tilde, for those on my side of the map, in the name of the item interrupts the search & closes the console. So when I search for ingots using: help "Ingot ~ Silver" as soon as I press the tilde key the console closes. Yes, I can look up Silver or Ingot but to have the specific item you want to bring up sometimes helps narrow things down. It's no biggie I have most of the codes on hand so I use your amazing again. I just wanted to let you know that including that particular key ends the search & closes the console, Have a great day sweetpea! *HUGS* ♥

@ kaymish: tried with a couple of vanilla and mod vendors myself yesterday, but also couldn't reproduce this thing (still, don't have any dlc to test like i said). thx for reporting anyway, and if anybody else gets this, let me know & i'll see what i can do about it.

@s7o In response to you questions i have attempted to replicate the bug again on a new save and have found i am unable to do so with the time i currently have avilable
this leads me to believe that the problem was not in your mod but in that save file,
(perhaps because i applied the mod and jumped right in on an old save file that caused the problem)
a conflict with another mod unlikly but possible
or me being an idiot which is all too likely
however if it helps and this is a genuine issue (which my failure to replicate it now leads me to believe its not) the bought soulgems work correctly from vinillia stores and the DLC stores i have avilable to me right now i dont currently have the time to go and loot a couple of dungeons to check if they are showing up diffrent behavior i can probally check that tomorrow

anyway i apologise for the run around and if you need a hand with anything else just let me know

@ kaymish: ok thanks, gonna take a look into this. you don't happen to remember if this happened with soul gems bought anywhere or just with ones bought in dlc-places?
(don't remember this happening in my game, but i don't have any of the dlc's, hence the mod just covers items from vanilla game. if dlc's bring their own, i could support them though, with a little help from someone who has dlc's and tes5edit (or ck) so they could look up the id's for me (works quite well, already could support hearthfire without having it in my park and ride mod this way)

i'm still not getting what you're trying to tell me though, you're searching items by typing in their names at the console, or what? if so, i had no idea you could do this - and search in what? your inv?

@s7o heya sorry i didnt get back to you with the results of my own investigation into the issue. however the problem is not as great as i suspected earlier, it may well be a conflict with some of my other mods, it appears that if you buy a soul gem is is named one way and if you pick one up as loot it is named the other way. it has been some time since i looked itno the probelem and once i figured it out i was able to work around the issue with ease

Ahhhh well here in the good ole USA we open the console with the tilde ( ~ ) key so when I am searching for ingots, for instance, I enter something like ~ Ingot and the second I press the ~ key I exit the console :D So it's nicer than just a plain old dash ( - ) it also renders searching for anything that you've sorted using the ~. That's why I hit the ~ key.... it opens my console. heheh Have a great day darlin! *HUGS* Ciao ♥

@ kaymish: odd, gonna look into this. might be hearthfire brings it's own type of soul gem (same name and looks in game don't necessarily mean it's the same item technically) or it's a quest item or stg, my best theories for the moment

I've used this mod nearly since you released it. However, using the "~" key with the sorting has made it nearly impossible to search for specific items contained in the list. As soon as you press the "~" key the console closes. So I've decided to use another sorting mod that does not employ the the tilde key. Perhaps if you should ever decide to change it to something not required, such as ":" or "-" for instance, I'll resubscribe. BUT having said all that let me say this, this is an EXCELLENT mod (save the tilde key being used) and I highly recommend it. Thanks for the mod hon, and please, do consider changing that tilde key to something else, the dash or colon would work well :D Ciao darlin! :)

heya not sure if this is the place but i suspect i have found a bug with greater soul gems are not correctly labled in the mod and come out as greater soul gem rather than soul gem ~ greater, usually this wouldnt matter because i can just look up the list abit for the one i want. but in hearthfire this causes an issue where it does not recognise the soulgem when i want to craft an enchating table therefore preventing me doing this i cant be 100% sure of this but i am fairly confidant this is the problem i may try unsubscribing the mod to see if that fixses the problem.
otherwise an excellent mod and one i have found very useful during my adventures thank you

@ nope: you're knocking down open doors here what's for the menues (you can't restack the alphabet to take less room when desperate... :-)

@s7o Yea I started with Morrowind. Even then (when contact was only made 20% of the time) I was still an archer. Difficult, but had suprisingly superior efficency. Plus superior organization -_- Sure Morrowind's menus were just like many game of it's time, but it was much better than Skyrim's.

Oh well, can't complain. The Elder Scrolls is a blessing of a series to begin with, flaws are to be expected.

if you're a modder, menues are flash, so technically, it should be possible to add a new section, should you still want it (don't do enough flash for stuff like that myself though)

p.s.: ...ever played morrowind? arrows had _weight_ then... :-)=)

Being an archer, I collect every arrow I can get my hands on. Being a modder ontop of being and archer, make my weapons inventory go to hell. I was looking for a mod that adds a new selection to the inventory just for arrows, but I suppose this is the next best thing. Thank you very much!

@ swift: i guess much of how it came out were to make it console friendly. which not necessarily is a plus for pc users :-)
(but which ever way else it might have been, still large parts of users wouldn't be satisfied, guess that's just about different types of organizing oneself. me for example, i liked the morrowind menues best among prev tes-games, but most others i met think they were a big pile of bs)

I never was satisfied with the organization of Skyrim.
