Some news: I am un-depricating this mod and continuing working on it, since I was shown how to unpack it's files to continue to access them! You guys should expect new versions of this mod to be put on this steam mod from here on out, after all.

That new version will be getting any new updates though, and Villages are on my list for the future.

Hello all! I am returning to this game after stepping away for a very long time, and with that I may resume work on this mod.

Bad news: I have lost this mods files. Is there a method anyone knows for getting these files back so I don't have to start over?

This mod is just a playable race. I haven't worked on this project for a bit now, and it is a fairly simple mod right now, so you won't find any Orc settlements yet. Man, looking at my to do list, I have a lot to come back to when I play Starbound again.

Are these random enemies that will spawn in the universe or are they only a playable race mod?

@Sir Overlord If you havent found a solution to that yet, try the npc spawner plus, if I remember correctly you should be able to spawn modded npcs with it

how can I spawn them? will "Spawnnpc orc villager" do or do I need to type something else?

Xenoture: Have you downloaded the required items (Xbawks character extender- or any character extender mod will do, I think)? I haven't worked on this in a bit, as I have been out of this game, though it doesn't seem like an update to the base game should be the culprit.

im going with the DnD inspiration because i love dnd and i feel it has more creativity to it than warhammer 40k but only because your imagination is the limit

Oh. Well this was a disappointment. Not as a fan of orks, not as a fan of warhammer universe, I must notice that wh40k version of orks would've looked interesting at least because of the tech they use in their creations

@CyberFox: Well, the reason so far is two-fold: I haven't made any unique armors or clothes yet, and also the inspiration was not 40k (as much as a do love 40k). The inspiration for this mod is simply that I usually choose orcs as my faction in whatever I do, so long as they are an option. These are actually not 40k orks at all, I'll probably end up drawing more inspiration from D&D then anything else when it come to writing the lore.

I didn't consider that; Truth is I always imagined orc women with smaller tusks because I read somewhere females in most animals have smaller jaw bones after adulthood, because of the difference in hormones. That, and I had a really hard time making the women look as good with the tusk-pixel added. Looked funny to me. If their is a desire for it I would be willing to give it another go, though; Probably whenever I would have time for cutebound eyes.
