Thanks for the mod! Btw this mod is very lightweight and works just fine under 1.6. You can make a local copy of it, slap the <li>1.6</li> tag in the About.xml file and you have the 1.6 support. Tested and verified with zero issues.

hi you might be able to do that with a bulk orbital trader. (theres some mods for trader / trading which allow you to make new traders appear each day or to ask a specific type of trader to visit your base - i think they charge a bit of gold to visit you but its not much) :o)

Thanks @cave2017 even though I haven't installed your ver. (mostly because I needed more items in trade than less :) I play huge maps and imbalanced quantities of gold required for crafts).

Updated the mod for 1.5! @cave2017, thanks again for keeping the community going in the interim. If you could pull your mod down just to keep consistency with this one that would be great! I'm planning on adding a config menu at some point to allow configuration of min/max values that the trader can arrive with.

The metals trader buys jade, but doesn't recognize other gems and such (from mods like https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2020964421) as viable options. Would it be possible to make them compatible?

The trader arives and throws a big-ol error in my face every time he does.
Also he carries no stock. I'll have a lookie-loo at it at some point when I have time.

(i have used those mods nicely in 1.2 before, but if it is just more money you want them to have, you could try rich traders mod, but am not sure if i used it) - looks like i used that too :)

hi you might be able to use the Adjustable trade ships mod + Let's Trade (to basically re-order the same kind of trader again) which might indirectly do something similar :)

This makes so much sense! Why isn't this in vanilla? (Maybe have it only appear after colony reaches a certain wealth?)

Anyway, iron and steel should be rather abundant in space, what with the mining of asteroids and the salvaging of wrecked ships and stuff in orbit.

Also, I hope the 1.3 tag gets updated.
