@inky is it all right if i edit your 120mm and if needed your other 105mm and 35mm? they will have all credit to you and they will probs be hidden for the workshop... i'm going to edit them for a friends server if you allow me, i also know He will not publish the mods

I'm late to the party and just downloaded this mod. It's fantastic and has lead to a lot of fun with some tanks I've been working on.

Now comes the dreaded part for any mod author, a suggestion from some goober on the internet... So just to preface this, this suggestion comes from someone who has 100% no idea how difficult it is to adjust particle effects and this suggestion would also likely have practically no impact on the vast majority of users, but hear me out. Could the muzzle effect also emit light similar to the impact effect? It would be kind of neat for night time tank battles that I'm sure less than 1% of people actually partake in.

Anyhoo, thanks for the great mod and sorry for my smooth brain overly wordy suggestion.

alternatively you can use Whip's AI Slaving Turret to automatically aim and fire at enemies (it calculates drop using the m/s velocity and gravity factor, which I believe is 1 for this.) You can disable autofire though and do it yourself.

The projectile speed and slight drop on this thing makes it a really usable and (although I have no frame of reference) realistic feeling weapon. Don't suppose you have or could create a camera that has bullet drop markings with ranges on them? Would be very handy to use in conjunction with AWGs range finder :)

I wanted to see how much tweaking I could do, which is none.. I'd love to see what a gun with explode post penetration: True and explode on contact: false would do

I see, well I'm excited to see what you come up with if you do! I'm very new to modding and scripting but I had a go at playing with the config files of the weapons, and failed. I'm guessing the railgun frame work breaks when I transfer them over to local to toy with?

@Psyc, Thanks for your support. Currently I am taking a break from SE as a whole. I'm not sure when or if I will come back but if I do I'll definite make a few more toys for everyone.

Hey INKY, I love your weapons! I'd love to know if you have any more planned, the 3 you have out at the moment are so clean. I'd love to see some long range artillery with decent drop or perhaps some different ammo types which have different ballistic effects for the current weapons. Keep up the good work!

Correction: You do NOT need to download the required mod yourself. This mod will automatically do it for you when you use it. The weapons framework allows whip to keep the gun from breaking every time there is an update.

Update: I've fixed the collision issue, You should have less clang and be able to put the gun closer to other blocks now.

We also figured out that if you sequence them, the recoil can be used as a perfect emergency thruster system that works in all terrains. Max speed is kinda slow, but it has saved lives.
We're currently having a build-off on our private server. I've strapped 4 of them on a fighter jet. It's amazing. As a tanker, this is exactly what this game needed for me. Thanks!

@Azachiel, Indeed, all guns that run the penetration script will kill even in creative with invulnerability. It is hilarious and I do it all the time. XD

@ToedPeregrine4, Press the subscribe button. It's that easy. The mod should now automatically download via the workshop and you should be able to enable it in game via the mods tab in the main menu. :)

I do like AWG's weapons but yours has a much flatter trajectory and higher velocity. :)

you can change the recoil value in AppData\Roaming\SpaceEngineers\Storage

the reason I prefer INKY's 120mm vs AWG's is the firing sound and being able to change the fire rate on the sbc through mentioned directory

Now I hope we can get a something like 120mm AMOS mortar or a 155mm L52 please?

@woostyboy, thanks but I'm not going to add more recoil. The whole reason I made my guns is because AWGs guns have too high recoil for me. It keeps flipping my tanks and ripping my turrets off. The tanks I make are lighter than most people, as such I needed guns that are tuned to light vehicles. These guns are tuned to be manageable for light vehicles and the recoil is much more noticeable on them. If your tanks are on the heavier side you will naturally notice less recoil. I recommend AWG's guns if you want more kick as they are tuned to heavy vehicles. As for me I will keep them as they are otherwise it would defeat the whole reason I created them and would render them unusable for me.

Love the flat trajectory of this and 105mm. Makes hitting things at range a lot easier! Also makes Whip's AI turret script usable. Thank you!

Can I offer some feedback?
Personally I like the tank weapons that give a bit more 'kick' simply because it makes the tank look so cool when it fires, but that's just me!! ;)

@Noir_Arashi, Thank you. Glad you like it. It is possible to create a L55 version, but for now I have no plans on making one. Perhaps in the future when I am not busy. As for sounds it is possible to create custom sounds but I do not know how to do that.....yet.

After trial, I have to say that this is the best level of tank gun in the mod I have used.Close to history and excellent performance.

The only trick is the sound effect, which is more like a pure in-game explosion than a gun.When I first fired, I even thought I broke something XD Hope to improve(And 105 guns are also)?

I still have a question(Not an order).Is it possible to introduce a version of the long diameter (L55)? Even if there is a greater recoil.

Finally, thank you for your dedication to the SE Army builders.

@uginFიჯ, Sorry but I am not taking request for weapons. I am far too busy at the moment and modding takes a long time. Perhaps other modders can take your request instead. I suggest asking AWG as he does take requests from time to time.

unfortunately, but this is a common occurrence, shells(ammo) do not fall into the gun automatically, only with their own hands
and probably nothing can be done about it

Update: I have fixed the bug with the ballistics script not running. The gun should be working properly now.

@uginFიჯ, loading is done via conveyors but there is currently a problem with the guns not automatically drawing ammo. For now a sorter block can do ammo draws for you. I will fix the draw bug once I figure out how.
