2. Soldiers spend too much time using RPG aiming vehicles, which puts them at a disadvantage when fighting against vehicles (Especially in street battles)
No, and even if you can, it's a bad idea.
This isn't a bug report. I just think it's hilarious.
1) the AI will not take into account the presence of enemy vehicles and will waste its shells on infantry. Sometimes he shoots 3-4 times in a row at one soldier! while the map is full of with enemy vehicles. As a result, after several minutes of contact, the AI cannot resist enemy vehicles.
2) Another disadvantage is that the AI in Stealth Mode will fire RPGs at infantry. Sometimes will launcher shoot one soldier. This violates the logic of the style, I would prohibit the use of RPGs against infantry if the AI is in Stealth, since it unmasks your unit.
@nkenny, I hope you will teach the AI to save its own ammunition for the enemy's vehicles and use stealth mode properly
Hey sorry if someone has already asked this but any chance there is a version of this for OPTRE launchers?
Vanilla only. There are separate mods for the others.
What can this be connected with and how to fix it?
I had the opposite impression.
The 2 mod pages say they're standalone, so yes you need all 3 to support everything. I even decompiled the mods to confirm.
Why do you ask ? I can't see any reason to restrict it like that.
Not totally impossible.
- Changed the ammo cost to 1
- Removed the AI primary weapon, only left with the RPG.
Once i did this the AI started to glitching, equipping and de-equipping the weapon in a rapid manner (bascially it was shaking) After a few minutes it fired one shot with that. Interesting that this mod worked for me a few months earlier.
Thank you for your work and contribution to the community !
I noticed this too. It's because of the suppressive fire effect. Dunno if LAMBS uses that or VCOM does, but AI always engage with the suppression order in at least one of these mods, which means they will be given your last known position as an attack order and attack/advance on it relentlessly.
and can improvements be expected in regard to AI using it too fast and too often?
same for flare how too ?
(esp as they put so much effort in to writing them for us right?)
